Daniel Pearce would have walked this years x factor !!!

If he had been rightly put through to the Final 12 instead of Jamie Afro.

I tell you what i bet Danyl doesnt do Purple Rain quite as good as this tomorrow night...

I agree. I think Daniel was far and away the best act this year and was penalised for being in a band where the manager screwed up big time.

I hope he gets something out of being on the show though as he's a great singer

I think he will do, newwoman, if nothing else he's raised his profile again so will get more work. Even if he doesn't hit the big time, he'll still make a good living out of singing.

I think Daniel Pearce and Nicole would've been fantastic at the lives

You can't really predict something like that though can you?! He could have gone into the house and started bullying everyone making the public turn against him. Or he could have had bland performance after bland performance. I've said that Ethan and Duane are better than Rikki and Lloyd but we're never going to know if they would have done better or not.

I would love to have had someone like Nicole in the lives. I don't think she would have won or got that far but i like big powerful voices, especially on women, we didn't have that this year.

I suppose the difference is Daniel has done this before and we've seen how he coped and got to know more about him. We know he can cope with the live shows and we know he managed just fine living with a bunch of strangers before.

I said ahead of the lives that by not picking one of the 2 older divas Simon really was handing a major advantage to Danni in that she had no direct comparisons with her girls.

I think Lucie but most definitely Stacy have been a little bit hit & miss. Either Nicole or TreyC would have shown up how weak those 2 girls are vocally & one of them would probably have already been out by now or certainly in danger of doing so.

Daniel would have done as well as Danyl but without the baggage.

I'm sure he would have done very well, especially since he no doubt still has fans from his appearance on Popstars, the Rivals.

Agree. Nothing against the haircut myself but I think it made him less marketable in Simon's eyes.

I am sure he would have won, but Simon had already decided that clown Danyl was going to win, based on one audition and the youtube interest, he didn't learn his lesson with Susan Boyle that it means little once other acts get more popular.

That is why he deserves the twins to have to spend a million on, the reason he gave for not putting him through was pathetic, the whole choice of final acts was to keep Danyl and Jamie as the top two and it has backfired big time.

Yes, but thats not true.
Its a million pound record contract that can be voided if the winning act doesnt sell enough to warrant another release after the initial one.
AKA Steve, Leon.
Don't wish that on the twins, they deserve better than to be "syco"ed.

I agree that it was the haircut that doomed him actually!

It just gave the impression of 'trying too hard' and played into the has-been image. He came across as tired, and someone whose ship had already sailed. His voice unfortunately was second to all that.

I posted yesterday that the best thing for the Twins is not to win XF.

They would have to make an album which would probably bomb & they in turn would be dropped like a hot potato.

They are a novelty act & need to side step into something they can do, because they can't sing. It is a novelty that won't translate into record sales.

I'm not so sure. The overs were definitely the stronger category this year, but I think Simon made the right choices.

Like Daniel P tho.

You know, much as I like Daniel, I do have mixed feelings about Simon not putting him through. He did already reach the final of a big talent show and got to release records, so he is already famous. I know that people have been put through who got to bootcamp on the X Factor but not from the live shows and ok it was another programme but I think a line has to be drawn somewhere. Otherwise we could have Leon entering all over again

I do like Daniel and would have loved to see him given a second chance, to say nothing of the fact that it would have guaranteed at least one person with singing talent on the show, but I'm not sure it's really what talent shows are for - surely they are give unknowns a chance to make it? (I felt the same way about Ray Quinn and Andy Scott Lee on Pop Idol)

Daniel was my favourite out of the over 25s. I think he would have been a better choice than Olly. Maybe Simon didn't want to put both Danyl and Daniel through because it would be too confusing.

It's not hard is it?

My neighbour's cat could have walked this year's X-Factor!

I can't believe the judges chose such a talentless & bland bunch.

Out of those left, this year can be divided into:-

1) Can't sing for toffee (Lloyd & Jedward)

2) Can sing, but are bland (Stacey, Lucie, Olly, Jamie & Joe)

3) Danyl (potentially amazing, but something about him makes you think otherwise).

Daniel would have been brilliant. Without a massive ego.....or have been stifled by song choices. He'd have just aced the lot.
