Why does everyone dislike lloyd so much..? - The X Factor

Is he really as bad as eggnog?
Is he really the worst singer you have ever heard?

Is he really all that bad?

I swear there is only about 4 lloyd fans on the whole of DS...on the poll he is the least voted for act in terms of favorites.
Something like 20 votes...:

I don't dislike Lloyd at all, he seems a lovely chap and he's very cute. I just find him a bit dull as a singer. Perhaps he would have had a better shot if he'd waited a few years before auditioning.

I don't think he has attained the heights of ridicule endured by Eggnog by any means.

No, he's worse than Eggnog. He's not the worst singer I've ever heard but he's certainly worse than all the others except Jedward.

Don't dislike the lad, he's just the second worst act in the finals.

Unfortunately, the wee lassies and the old grannies will ensure that the worst act stays for a while yet.

Lloyd is SO dull. At least Eoghan looked like he belonged on stage.

Vocally I'd say Eoghan is better than Lloyd. But they're both dire.

There are many reasons. The main one being that he can't sing. Well, that's a lie. He just can't sing very well.

He is mature for a 16 year old though; he doesn't spend his time crying and wallowing in self pity, so for that I respect him and think in a few years he may be better.

I like Lloyd but think it would have been better if her had entered when he is a bit older! His voice is not good enough yet though he has a lovely tone.

It does annoy me how Eoghan got talked up so much last year and Lloyd gets told he is out his depth! I much prefer Lloyd!

He seems a very sweet lad, however,he's completely out of his depth, his performances are really weak and he looks completely terrified on stage.

Pains me to say it, as I thought he was dreadful, but Eoghan was slightly better

He couldn't be any more out of his depth if he was standing at the bottom of the Pacific ocean and the rest of the world was on top of Mount Everest - he is that poor as a vocalist. I won't use the word 'singer' in this context.

I don't think people neseccarily dislike him, they just like other people more. Last week a lot of people on here said what a nice guy he seemed after his bottom two performance, xtra factor etc

I think he seems a really nice lad. When Simon slated Cheryl for the song choice, the way he defended her was really sweet and the way he handled himself was great.

However, his performances aren't great. The fact he's good looking and gains votes that way, upsets people. It's not his fault but I think it's a big part of the reason some don't like him.

I agree. I definitely do not dislike him - he just doesn't do anything for me. He is bland and his voice is not strong enough. I'm sure he would sell records but for a live singing contest he just doesn't cut it.

Agree totally with you. I cringe when he hits bad notes week after week and hurts at least one of my 5 senses. It is not easy nor pleasant listening imo. I love Stand By Me but every time he frog sang "by" not even my cats stood by me -they were off!

It's also the way that he pronouces words - perhaps I am being too picky but his diction really annoys me. He just doesn't seem to sing properly!

I know what you mean. I don't get why a lot of singers sing "choo" when singing "you" Are they told to do that or is it a fashion these days. It does my nut in tbh!

Lloyd's voice range is very limited as well so it results in the performance failing to hold my interest as it lacks anything to thrill and excite.

yeh I agree with all that. 'Cute' votes annoy me so much but it's not Lloyd's fault people do that. He's not that good in my opinion but I don't hate the kid!
