I really dont think that order makes a difference tbh..

The whole 'If your first, your going out' is rubbish.

The oddest thing was that the only order change was between Danyl and Lloyd. What went on there? Was Danyl not ready or something? Seems odd just to change two and not the whole order

It was Danyl - lloyd - Olly - Joe - Stacey for round 1

round 2 - lloyd - Danyl (ok I see the value in swapping them round.. but then olly - joe - stacey - no change in the order.

If you are going to have an order either stick to it or change everyone

IMO of course

It does make a difference. The first two performances tonight were overlapped with Strictly, and consequently got far fewer viewers, and potential voters.

There's a reason they choose certain people to go on first - it's not random.

I agree with this.

I don't think it makes much difference what order they sing in.

Unless you are a goldfish, you're not going to forget a performance.

When there is only five contestants left it doesn't really matter who goes first however in the beginning we have to sit through 12 performances its easy the first few get overlooked a the later ones are more fresh in the mind.

There was clear favoritism for Joe last night, not just in the running order but in the over the top reactions to his performances and the urging to the public to "vote for Joe". I am guessing that the voting patterns so far indicate that Joe might have been in trouble last night, but after the blatant favoritism I think he is definitely safe.

They seem to always put the 'epic' performances either on last or just before a commercial break, as then the performance sticks in everyones minds for a while before the next act is on. Danyl's 'Relight my fire' was an uptempo number suitable for starting the show, whereas 'Your Song' was set up to be an epic so they swapped him with Lloyd to put him before the break

Agree. In the first two, maybe three weeks it may make a bit of a difference but at this stage when there are only five left it isnt going to make a difference.
