Welcome to the Geordie Factor .

Cheryl last night; " I'm so proud to be a geordie "

She hasn't lived there for years. It's always being mentioned. Geordie Joe this, Geordie Cheryl that.

Why don't they say Essex Stacey, Essex Olly, or even Reading Danyl.

Doing my nut in. It's done in a way that makes me feel less superior to them just because I am not geordie.

sorry, rant over

Dannii usually makes a point with Dagenham Stace as well.

I personally don't care where a contestant is from.

So what if she hasnt lived there for years? She is still allowed to be proud of her birth place!

Are you reading The Louis rule book?

It's a common feeling, don't feel bad about it, not everyone can be like us!

she never says i hope newcastle gets behind you to joe...(like she implied that only the welsh will vote lloyd so he needs welsh support)

i think the whole reason she loved joe so much was that he was from near her, that he can sing is a bonus!

lol i didnt even know where danyl was from...hope reading is voting for him.

That alone should make you feel more superior, not less!

It is probably a small village in Wales, as other than Cardiff or Swansea, everywhere in Wales seems to be a small village, unless you have actually been to Wales then you would know different.

i find it so condescending when they go on about geordies feeling proud to support Joe.

Im a geordie and i will support who i like and thats stacey. what does it matter where anyones from its supposed to be about talent (though in fairness i would like him to come second purely because i think the others are woefull)

Exactly, like when they say the whole of wales will back Lloyd.

I am sure that the Welsh people have more class than that! After all Wales is supposed to be the land of song, and I can't imagine many Taffs will be impressed with anyone thinking they have lost the ability to hear!

It's just like, I am not Geordie yet i support Joe.

Sometimes the way they say stuff is like only people from north west are voting

I will vote for Joe and I was born in Kent! Places don't matter - it is talent which is important.
