Since Simon said on last night's Xtra Factor that he had the job. I doubt he'd make such a statement on live TV if he wasn't serious.

Not complaining, I quit like Eminem, and if him being a guest on the panel stops deadlock from ever happening again, then I'm all for it. That's assuming he doesn't replace anyone on the current panel, that is. Although I think the only person he really has a chance of replacing is Louis.

I know people keep banging on about how Simon apparently hates Dannii, but I think out of the current panel, the only judge they could stand to lose is Louis. Too many people would stop watching if any of the others went I think.

I think Simon may want to freshen up the show again next year so I can see him bringing along a guest judge each week at the live stages. I would like this and as you have already said, it would stop deadlock!
