Intempo PG01 vs Pure Evoke 2

Which receiver has the best sensitivity when it comes to picking up DAB in outer-fringe reception areas the intempo PG01 or Pure Evoke 2?

I have the Intempo which picks up everything there is around here - both DAB and FM...

The sound quality is definitely up market portable rather than HiFi - and of course it is stereo, whereas the basic Evoke is mono.

You pays your money etc etc, as the Evoke stereo version will relieve you of around £150!

Happily, all of them have a stereo headphone output...

So it's up to you...

I decided to go for the intempo PG01 and i was rather disappointed with it to be honest, the whole unit vibrates at high to full volume and the sensitivity was on a par with my portable Perstel DR101.
Glad i got it from argos so i can take it back and go for the Pure Evoke 2 instead

So "the whole unit vibrates at high to full volume"...

How loud do you listen to it?

I'd be interested to know which portable set didn't vibrate at full volume...

That's an interesting concept - a small vibrator that plays music - there must be a market for that somewhere...
