Family Affairs *************spoilers***************************

Monday 14th June at 6.30pm
A blast from Chrissy's affluent past! Bradley's mother breezes back into Mrs Costello's life for a catch-up. Will Chrissy find the strength to tell it like it is... or will she revert to her lying ways? The two mums plot against Melanie's engagement to Brendan while Cheryl falls for more than Patrick's charms. Is she stupid enough to go back to his place? Les talks to a bemused Sean over his worries for "a friend's son" who is actually gay and set to be married! Meanwhile, Sean can't seem to shake off his new friend, Desperate Dan.

Tuesday 15th June at 6.30pm
Geri plays Cupid between Dave and Cheryl. After all, if they're in separate rooms, she's on the sofa! Patrick, on the other hand, is doing his utmost to split them up. Can the copper and the crook work it out? Watch out for the bombshell that Patrick hits Dave with. Brendan starts to get jittery over Sean and the wedding invite; people are starting to notice his irritation! Is he about to give the game away?

Wednesday 16th June at 6.30pm
If your surname is Costello, marriage prospects aren't good. Chrissy conspires to split Melanie and Brendan up the night before her engagement party, while Gary comes clean about his own state of affairs. Patrick just can't help himself and takes great pleasure in winding Dave up about his night with Cheryl. "She's had other men, Dave. And when she falls out with them, she comes to me." Meanwhile, Eileen has a business proposition for Charnham's newest entrepreneurs. Sam gets the cold shoulder from everyone and doesn't know why.

Thursday 17th June at 6.30pm
Les can't skirt around the issue one moment longer. He asks his son, er, straight out if he sleeps with other men. Brendan's explosive denial convinces Les that it must be true - time to tell Denise. With the engagement party only hours away, will Brendan finally be convinced to tell the truth? Sean's new friendship with Danny isn't quite as unconditional as seems. And can Chrissy keep it together in the face of her crumbling marriage?

Friday 18th June at 6.30pm
While the Charnham community prepares for Brendan and Melanie's engagement party, Brendan tries to stump up the guts to tell his fiancée that he's gay! Sean and Danny decide to make an appearance in case Brendan needs support, but Melanie rushes in with a huge announcement. Will she out her husband-to-be at her own engagement party?

Monday 21st June at 6.30pm
Sean is in the flurry of a new affair... well, he thought he was! Desperate Dan is playing hard to get. Is his giddy-but-coy routine a ploy for more attention, or is it for real? Also, Brendan tells Sean that, despite everything, he is not gay. Is Sean using man repellent instead of deodorant these days? Meanwhile, Dave is letting Cheryl slip through his fingers (after Patrick greases them) and Yasmin is fussing over Geri and her possible illness. Geri has a hospital appointment; the haematologist will tell her if she has leukaemia or not!

Tuesday 22nd June at 6.30pm
It's the day from hell for Lewis. He's in a mood and everyone knows it! Things go from bad to worse when his friends go to Cameron and fill in the blanks. Will Lewis realise that all his problems are down to being back on cocaine or will he just stay in denial? Across the road, Cat and Doug are back from the health farm, all happy and in love. But Cat comes down to earth with a thud when she finds that Marc is still at home - and Yasmin has a sombre secret to share! Also, Cheryl is boozing her problems away and will go three rounds with anyone.

Wednesday 23rd June at 6.30pm
A common criminal turns up at the station and triggers Cheryl's voyage of discovery. She finds the missing bangle Dave gave her and, in doing so, realises the identity of her stalker! Tanya returns home with Charlie after a successful trip to her mum's. Sean only admits to a spot of "gardening" in her absence. And it's mad panic in the Costello house when everyone forgets about Melanie's 18th birthday - except Chloe! Brendan has another surprise for Mel. This time, though, it's a good one.

Thursday 24th June at 6.30pm
Patrick antagonises and goads Dave, who ends up punching him. Triumphant, Patrick reads him his rights! Cameron takes control over Lewis's money; Lewis has to think of another way to get drugs. It's Melanie's birthday but, with her mum and dad acting like Punch and Judy, she doesn't seem to be having a good one. Geri spends more time with Yasmin; she doesn't want to spend her life consumed with hate.

Friday 25th June at 6.30pm
Lewis makes a decision he may not live to regret! After Cheryl overhears him making a drug deal and promptly arrests him, Lewis swallows the wraps of cocaine. Cheryl is one of the last people to find out that Dave has been arrested for punching Patrick. She's in a dilemma as to what she should do; she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. Tanya tells Danny that he and Sean would make a good couple. They conspire to overhaul "chino-man's" wardrobe.

28th June-2nd July

Monday 28th June at 6.30pm
Cheryl goes into panic mode when Lewis overdoses on her. He's flat-lining at the hospital and Cameron is devastated; it's his father's death all over again. Will Lewis pull through after heart failure? Danny is traumatised by Sean's wardrobe and vows "the age of beige" is over. Can Sean carry off his new attire? Meanwhile, Chloe can't believe her mum's leaving home! And Yasmin helps out another friend in need. It's time to add another layer of polish to her halo.

Tuesday 29th June at 6.30pm
Dave has a smashing time giving his relationship with Cheryl a much needed break. Patrick is about to get scarier than ever! Yasmin and Geri vote over Chrissy staying in Yasmin's flat. Tanya finally realises Sean's former secret lover was Brendan while having coffee with tight-lipped Danny! Gary ponders a future without his wife. Will he be able to cope with running his family and his home without Chrissy?

Wednesday 30th June at 6.30pm
After Dave's retrieval of evidence against the obsessive Patrick, things start to heat up in Cheryl's kitchen. Patrick, volatile and unpredictable, holds Cheryl against her will! Dave bursts in to save her, but deranged Patrick has a knife; metaphorically he's stabbed Dave in the back before but this time it could be for real. Meanwhile, Cameron reluctantly leaves Lewis alone to give him some space. Will Lewis take this chance to take more drugs after his overdose? Chloe's late home from her mum's and Gary goes into panic mode.

Thursday 1st July at 6.30pm
There's going to be a hotpot of personal differences and personalities at Cat and Doug's pre-wedding dinner! Yasmin and Geri decide to promote Marc to the rank of human being for the occasion - if he can act like one. After hearing from Pete that Cat was an ex-prostitute, the question is: can Marc act in line with his new elevated position? Cameron bursts in after finding out Geri has leukaemia; now everyone knows she's ill. Ding ding, seconds out!

Friday 2nd July at 6.30pm
Doug breaks with tradition on the morning of the wedding day and bursts in, insisting that he needs to talk to Cat. She looks stunning in her bridalwear but has a fit when Doug asks her about her past! Will he still want to marry her now he knows she's a former hooker? Geri talks with Cameron about Lewis's recovery. Now they both have food for thought. And if that wasn't enough, Kelly goes into a difficult labour and Cheryl considers leaving the force!

Family Affairs 5th July-16th July

Monday 5th July at 6.30pm

After so many false starts, is Cat destined to be Mrs Doug MacKenzie? The past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster and now the betrothed couple find themselves nervously sitting in the waiting room of St. David's Hospital instead of waltzing down the aisle. There's bad news for new parents Justin and Kelly, whilst Marc has some shocking news of his own. Meanwhile, Dan scours Charnham looking for a video of Sean in a compromising position!

Tuesday 6th July at 6.30pm

Lucy's guilt over Mike's death starts to take its toll when Sam shows up with a suspicious mind. As Pete and Eileen make plans to head off for a holiday, Lucy is left behind to deflect Sam's questions. Can she keep it together and lie in the face of her own flesh and blood? Sean's overjoyed when he gets the video back of his dance routine; Dan assures him that nobody's any the wiser, but that doesn't explain the furtive glances or Dave's musical choice in the Black Swan. Hmmmm. Also, Tanya loses her patience with Charlie while Cat and Doug spend their honeymoon in hospital.

Wednesday 7th July at 6.30pm

Cat and Doug finally make their marriage official, if you know what we mean! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. He's happy to be the Master of the Bedroom but unwilling to become the Master, sorry, Mayor of Charnham. "Poncing round with chains round my neck isn't part of my life's plan. If I've got spare time I'm going to be spending it with my lady wife!" declares the big man. He hasn't reckoned with Cat's burning ambition though. Meanwhile, Lucy is nervous when Sam resolves to file a missing person's report on Mike and Lewis is gutted when Melanie reveals how she truly feels about him.

Thursday 8th July at 6.30pm

Cat finally breaks through Geri's tough exterior and offers a shoulder to cry on. Has she decided to go ahead with the chemo or have IVF treatment instead? Cameron and Lewis decide to shape up and ship out while Brendan and Melanie finally start to communicate. Sean is shell-shocked by Tanya's decision to take in Charlie on a more permanent basis. However, neither of them have the slightest suspicion that a surprise visitor might just pull the carpet out from under their feet. It's Charlie's long-lost mother!

Friday 9th July at 6.30pm

Cat and Sadie plot to gather 28 signatures for Doug's mayoral application. Who can stop Cat's snowballing campaign or indeed her aspirations of grandeur? The pressure gets to Lucy when Sam talks about moving to Charnham on a permanent basis. He wants to find his father, Mike. However, as Dave so kindly puts it, finding Mike won't be easy - "unless he's going swimming!" - which is scarily close to reality. Later, Cheryl informs him that the police are dredging the river! Will they get away with murder? Finally this week, Cameron and Lewis bid adieu to Charnham and head for France...

Monday 12th July at 6.30pm

Eileen and Pete return from their romantic country break to discover Dave desperately trying to keep Lucy's erratic behaviour in check. The police continue trawling the river in search of a body which may well be Mike! Justin tries to persuade Doug to stand for Mayor. "They need someone to fight for the little people, like when you were on my PTA at school and we got that wicked climbing frame." Yes, Justin, something like that. Is his rousing speech enough for Doug to make his mind up? Tanya has a tough time convincing Charlie to speak to his mother, who's just burst onto the scene. And Cheryl catches Dave and Eileen in an extremely compromising position - not that she needs the flames of jealousy fanning any more...

Tuesday 13th July at 6.30pm

Kelly and Justin bring the baby home. The look on their faces is priceless when they hear Doug's surprise news, but it's nothing compared to Sadie's mug when she sees how they've decorated her house! Still on the decorating front, it's paintbrushes at dawn when Danny helps Sean and Tanya choose a colour scheme for their new place. Meanwhile, back at The Black Swan, it's dead man walking when Cheryl announces they've pulled a body from the river. Can Lucy keep it together for all their sakes?

Wednesday 14th July at 6.30pm

You know what they say - "behind every good man there's a great woman" - and Cat is no exception. She steps up Doug's mayoral campaign and doesn't care who gets hurt along the way! Meanwhile, a tense party of guilt-ridden Charnhamites waits nervously for a visit from the police. Pete hands out alibis as fast as Cat can hand out mayoral ribbons, and it's a good job too. The body in the river is confirmed as Mike; it's now a murder investigation! Also, Bradley turns up with an overnight bag and Charlie's mum reveals her intentions...

Thursday 15th July at 6.30pm

Cheryl's suspicious mind goes into overdrive - she starts asking questions around The Black Swan. Cat can't unload her opinion fast enough; "This place should have a health warning over the door!" Armed with enough idle gossip to sink a ship, Cheryl accuses Dave of being an accessory and implores him to come clean. What does he know about Mike's murder? Dave opens his mouth to tell the "truth" - he and Eileen are having an affair! Melanie and Brendan arrive back from New York... and all they bought were these lousy wedding rings. Yes, Melanie has married her gay ex-fiancé. Not at all complicated, is it?

Friday 16th July at 6.30pm

Whilst Lucy struggles to maintain a normal appearance, Cheryl packs her bags and leaves the "adulterous" Dave - but not without stirring up a hornets' nest for the Callans. Cheryl drops a bombshell on Pete by revealing that Eileen and Dave have had a fling. Not realising it was Dave's last-ditch attempt to cover the truth about Mike's murder, Pete flies into a rage that could tear their alibis apart. Speaking of plotting and planning, Chrissy tries persuading Les and Denise to annul Mel and Brendan's new union. When will the woman learn?
