Storms cause network outages

Yesterday's heavy storms caused problems for some mobile phone users, with some losing network signal altogether and some having problems making calls.

Someone I know was trying to use their T-Mobile phone yesterday during the storms, but the network was down, and I was having difficulty getting through to people on my phone on Vodafone, even though the reception was good. I put it down to either the storms, or too many people trying to call for taxis!

Anyone else have any network problems during yesterday's severe weather?
