Sky Football First - Not on SS1? What was Sat night's full game?

Mmm, after setting my DVD recorder to record the match last night, I was instead greeted with three hours of golf.

I thought $ky were meant to have all the Premierships games on SS1. Even today, Chel$ki's game is on SS2 .

No red button, now no footy! Guess I'll have to get SS2 as well now

ryder cup is going to get more viewers than football first . same reason that the beeb put their highest rating shows on bbc1 .

How difficult is it to have Ryder Cup on SS2 and let everyone know ? That's what they do with the Champions League, and that rates higher than anything on that night (well certainly higher that the results thing that is on SS1 & SSN at the same time).

Also I thought SS3 was the bonus channel to deal with this type of thing.

Once upon a time (two/three years ago). All Premiership was on SS1. England games & FA Cup on SS2 and Ireland/Scotland games on SS1/SS3. Other one-off events just went on the channels with free capacity.

Used to be very frustrating as I had onDigital without SS2 for a while and missed out on some England games. Nowadays I haven't got a clue which channel is showing what until the day itself. The recent Ireland game moved from SS3 to SS1(red button) to SSX within a week according to http://www.skyprogrammeinformation.co.uk/ . Apparently it is still on SS1(red button) according to the home page!!!
