James Fox to appear at Royal Albert Hall

James will perform at The Festival of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall on the 13th November.

There will be two concerts that day, the first at 2pm which is open to the general public and tickets are available from the RAH website. There will be a second concert in the evening which is by INVITATION ONLY and in the presence of Her Majesty, The Queen. This will be broadcast live on BBC1 at around 7-7.30pm.

That's great news for him.

Why hasn't Alistair been invited to perform on this?

James has been asked to perform by the Royal British Legion probably because he travels round the world performing for our Forces and is asked back time and time again by popular demand! He was even willing to travel to Iraq recently before the MOD cancelled because it was too dangerous.

And well deserved too! James has performed for the British Forces all over the world-he was doing this BEFORE Fame Academy and has said himself, that he really enjoys these gigs, because the troops get little enough in the way of entertainment and light relief!

I think he has done more than enough to deserve the honour of peforming at this event. I can't wait to see the show on BBC!

Congratulations James!

What's the betting that his bit won't be shown on BBC1? Is he still releasing a 2nd single at some point?

I remember that too Suzi. The date then was Saturday 14 November. By coincidence the same Saturday to the day, one year on! I will be there to see him perform this year too! It's nothing more than he deserves, there can't be many who would have been prepared to go to Iraq through choice and be so proud to be asked, even if the MOD did cancel it for now. Bosnia, Afghanistan and The Falklands, and that's this year alone.

Great to hear James on Radio 2 earlier.

He will be performing on BBC1 tonight around 10.15/10.30pm. A great honour. He'll be singing Don't Look Back In Anger and there will be short clips of him singing to the Troops in The Faulklands

Well done James! Brilliant performance and thanks for all your hard work entertaining the troops in Bosnia and The Falklands this year - I'm sure Her Majesty was impressed - celebrate - you've done the Royal Albert Hall

Isn't that Albert Hall a HUGE pub? I bet the Grants and Parky have never had a session there.
