That '70s Show Coming To Paramount Comedy!!

Brand new to Paramount Comedy ‘That 70’s show’ makes its debut on October 14th.
Brought to you by the team behind Roseanne, Third rock and Wayne’s World, This nostalgic comedy is a runaway hit in America, currently in its 6th series it regularly attracts guests stars such as: Jessica Simpson, Luke Wilson, Alice Cooper, Jack Osborne and Gloria Gaynor.

Set in the decade that fashion forgot ‘That 70’s Show’ centres around eighteen year-old Eric Foreman (Topher Grace) and his next-door neighbour and oldest friend Donna (Laura Prepon). Eric and Donna’s parents couldn’t be more different, Eric’s are strict and unrelenting while Donna’s are easy going hippies, causing both teenagers many embarrassing and cringe-worthy moments.

Eric and Donna spend most of their spare time hanging out with a close group of friends including the naïve but gorgeous Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), Hyde (Danny Masterson), Jackie (Mila Kunis) a pert, all American cheer leader with a cruel streak, and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) an hilarious foreign exchange student, who is desperate to soak up all America has to offer.
Catch That 70’s Show from 9.00pm from October 13th on Paramount Comedy.

I thought you'd find this interesting. How did both Trouble & Paramount get the PAYtv rights to it??

I was wondering the same thing. I've just got into this on Trouble so I will watch it on Paramount from the beginning, should be good. Well done to Paramount... I wonder if this is a success they'll sign up more teen-oriented sitcoms?

Could it just be that Troubles Pay tv rights to the earlier series have run out, and Paramount have bought them. Leaving Trouble with just the newer episodes.

Wasn't this shown on Channel 5 - sorry, five - fairly recently as well? I wish some of these channels would try showing something different for a change instead of the same old programmes.

its hardly ever on terrestrial, they use it as a slot filler ala Family Guy and South Park on C4. If anything it should be given a regular slot on Terrestrial as its not readily available to anyone who doesnt have Sky.

'That 70s Show' is one of the best comedys around, I nearly always have a LOL moment watching it.
It's a shame five got the rights to it as I don't think they've given it the best slot. BBC2 should have had it for their 6o'clock slot.
Still at least Trouble give it respect due. 3 new episodes a week, with old episodes show daily.
Laura Prepon is great, along with the rest of the cast. FES should have his own show.
They tried doing a UK version of it, but didnt do so well (altho I liked it, seeing it before the US version).

Its a fantastic show, I watch it all the time here in the states. It can only be a good thing that its on several channels in the UK. Stuff like Family Guy is on 3 channels here, that happens for a lot of shows, its on Fox, Adult Swim (Cartoon Network), and TBS. Great if you're a fan of the show.

I remember the UK version - Days Like These, was it called? I think it may have been the trauma of watching that that put me off ever watching the original/US version
