BAtteries and Digital Cameras.

My Kodak digital camera takes two Ni-MH AA batteries, but they are dead! Rechargable, but they have been recharged so much, they only last about 15 photographs with flash. Can I use Ni-Cd rechargable batteries with this camera? I have a bunch of them, and I was wondering if it would screw up my camera if I used them (I don't want to try incase it does)

You should be able to use the NiCd's OK, they'll have less capacity but the voltage is the same. Check out the capacity though, NiCd AA's tend to be around 500 to 1000mAh, while NiMH AA's are probably at least 1600mAh, maybe up to something like 2300mAh.
NiCd and NiMH need charged differently, so if the camera had some kind of built-in charger you probably shouldn't use that, but use a proper NiCd charger (most standalone NiMH chargers will do NiCds no problem.)

Yeah, it has a built in charger, so you suggest charging them ina proper charger, and not the camer one?

Any idea where I could get some rechargable Ni-MH batteries from? Everywhere I looked were Ni-Cd.

www.mx2.com are good for rechargeable batteries and lots of other camera stuff. They're doing 4 AA NiMH batteries with 2300mAh capacity for £6.99.
