Chocolate Eclairs ( the art to eating one)
These are abolutely delicious but i do have a gripe....namely it's bloody difficult finding the right way to eat one!
....you can't hold it because you'll just get chocolate over your fingers, if you take a bite you just squeeze the cream out on to you, sometimes the two halves splay apart and fall to the floor.If you've found a particular technique let me in on the secret if you please. Don't suggest using a fork or spoon that just looks crass

I peel off the chocolate and eat that,
then I eat the top half of pastry then slurp out the cream then eat the bottom half of pastry... I like food in layers ![]() p. |

Mmmm, I haven't a chocolate eclair for years. Yummy though. The difficulty of eating them is part of the fun though.

As long as you lick your fingers afterwards you don't miss much.......
My only gripe is the pastry often tastes a bit 'cardboardy'................

after reading this thread yesterday i just had to go and buy one, well two actually and something else with lots of cream inside
mmmmMMMMMM YUMMY!!! I havent eaten them all yet!
