Hi,

Right heres my problem: i have a LG DVD-ROM drive in my PC its a internal drive, i installed Power DVD v5 about 6months ago and played 'Bruce almighty' DVD on it and thats region 2. Worked fine watched the DVD turned off PC came back few hours later inserted another DVD and DVD dosn't work so i thought hmm whats going on. No DVD disks work on my DVD-ROM drive anymore but all other types of CD's work.

I brought a Freecome FX-1 USB2.0 External CD-RW just over 2years ago about 2years and 2weeks. About 2weeks ago my CD-RW just lost power i took the power cable out and put it back in, but the drive just isnt get any power through i think its died. I emailed Freecom last week they said they will send me a PSU dont know what that will do, but that hasnt arrived yet. Im thinking about getting a External USB2.0 DVD-RW can someone let me know any that are priced between £30 - £100 that are good quality like Sony or Freecom not LG i hate that brand. Any help would be great
