British Soap Awards nominations - here!
Oh My God, I just randomly checked the BSA site, and they're already up. I expected them to appear next weekend when they appear in the Sun's TV mag (among others no doubt).
And sweet mother of jesus at the first Corrie person in the actor category - that is hilarious! Who on earth decided that?! This is obviously the first round voting, the only ones voted for by the public and with three nominated from each soap. No he isn't! Not as an ACTOR, surely?
I mean one of the top 3 actors in the show at present? Come on. I'd even settle for Bruno Langley, and certain people know what I think of him.. As usual there are some dodgy decisions all over the place |

Perhaps they're a bit thin on the ground for nominees from Corrie. I like Sean but i don't think he should be nominated. I'd rather have Martin Platt on the list than Sean...Perhaps Danny Baldwin could have been listed?...

I feel I have to comment on everything
Okay, Sexiest Male - I would say they're the right choices for Corrie, they're all popular on some level. LOL at Joe Swash - I'm surprised EE didn't go for a Moon brother instead  Emmerdale don't seem to have updated theirs Where are any of the King brothers? What the hell is Robert Sugden doing there AGAIN? Family Affairs, hmmm I like Conrad, but surprised to see him there over Pete... Sexiest Female - Right choices for Corrie again, even though they're all young, but who else is there? Maybe Frankie or Leanne at a push. VERY surprised to see Kareena for EE. Expected them to go for Kim Medcalf. The Emmerdale ones are about right, wise of them to put Patsy Kensit in, not that she's a personal favourite. I'd sooner have Emma Atkins over Sammy Winward though... I'm glad Katie is nominated for FA. Villain - spot on for Corrie again, there's no one else they could have chose. EE's list is a bit pathetic and Chrissie is hardly a "villain" imo, but whatever - she'll probably draw votes.. Emmerdale have their evil twosome in Steph and Sadie so I'm pleased, Cain makes up the numbers nicely. But if EE could nominate Chrissie, then Emmerdale could have put Charity up... WHY isn't Trish there for Family Affairs? She should be there instead of Olly and is coming back at Easter! Best Actor - Nothing more to say about Sean! The other Corrie two are about right...I suppose.EE's is predictable. Please don't let Nigel or Shane win.. Emmerdale - I am so pleased to see Ken Farrington nominated, didn't expect that at all, but well deserved. Jeff is good as always, and Marlon hasn't done much in the last year so that spot should have gone elsewhere - maybe to Kelvin Fletcher. Family Affairs - LOL at Les. He's dreadful! Should have been Conrad. Best Actress - I don't rate Sally Lindsay much, Sunita should be there instead. Or Eileen. Or Katy. I think EE have made a mistake with their choices, they should have put Chrissie, Dot or Jane instead. But then maybe Jessie will still get votes despite doing sod all the last year?  Emmerdale - what the hell is Lisa doing there?! That's totally random, they always do this. Unless they have something planned for her soon . The other two are spot on and both deserve to win.Eileen should be there instead of Geri for FA. |
