Trailer Park Boys-cult classic?

Has anyone caught this on the paramount channels?

This has to be one of the most original and funny comedy shows I have seen in a long long time, but I sometimes think I am the only one watching!

It is basically a documentary type comedy (done straight) about life on a Canadian trailer park.

However once you get to know the characters it gets really funny and there are loads of police squad type sub-plots going on in the background.

You need to watch it once or twice to get into it as the first time it just looks like typical us/canadian trash.

However I think this could be a true cult classic.

Be warned though it has Very strong language

I love it! There isn't much Canadian stuff about in the UK, but all of the Canadian programmes I find (even the Tom Green Show!) have been great! I think Canada is very lucky of all of it's TV is this good.

When I lived in Canada back in 2002 I watched this and found it absolutely hilarious. The Canadians have a much better and sometimes darker sense of humour than their US counterparts and this show beautifully reflects this.

It's my favourite comedy show. Bubbles is the best character ever. Very underrated show in my opinion.

I am so pleased that others are appreciating this too.

It is probably one of those shows that will either dissapear without a trace or take off big style.

Really think if it gets the right publicity it should take off as the humour is actually quite dry which us brits often appreciate.

The problem is that for obvious reasons it has too be on late but I fear that most people just never think to watch at that time of night.

Come on any show with titles like

If I cant smoke and swear I'm F@@ked

and

Temporary relief assistant park supervisor

Can't be all bad.

Yeh bubbles is top with his little trolly business on the side.

also J to the Roc white rapper makes me laugh out loud

Lasts nights was so funny when they were contomplating what to do with all the dope money and it was suggested they could buy there own island then Jullian came out with the classic line---- no, we are gonna buy are own Trailer park! classic.

I'm originally from the Maritimes (New-Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI) and yes, we do actually talk that way (I get teased all the time over here and everyone asks if I'm from Devon - I'm not sure if that's an insult or not yet.)

If you have questions about the Canadianisms, just let me know.
