Day 26 – Tuesday 21 June 2005

9.44am
The housemates have been up for 13 minutes. On Sunday Big Brother transformed the Big Brother house into a workhouse and gave the housemates uniforms that must be worn throughout the task. Maxwell and Saskia are in the garden. Makosi and Science are in the bedroom. Kemal has come to the diary room to talk to Big Brother.

Kemal tells Big Brother the mood in the house is weird and strange. He is confused and bored by the Makosi/Anthony situation. He says, “the house is all Makosi, Makosi, Makosi…we mustn’t forget who she is…she’s different to the rest of us, she confirmed she’s not who we think she is and she’s not part of the game…we’ll have to wait and see.” Kemal then ponders whether Makosi is a real contestant. He concludes ‘I’m worried a Whitney/Mariah situation may arise.’

11.24am
Most of the housemates are in the garden. Kemal is by the seating area and Roberto is in the bedroom. Earlier Science took some cheese Maxwell had grated for him and Saskia

Science confronts Maxwell about the missing cheese ‘I took the cheese…so what?’ As Science rants, Maxwell sings ‘Head Shoulders Knees and Toes.’ Science calls him a spiteful *** and Anthony says it’s disgusting to call anyone that. Science reminds Anthony that Maxwell wouldn’t treat him that way. He eats the cheese and says ‘mmm nice cheese’

Makosi watches from the loft, totally dumbfounded.

Derek notices Kemal is eating an apple and says, ‘its not yours to take.’ Kemal just tells Derek he can take his other apple from the drawer which doesn’t impress Derek.

11.58
Science, Derek and Roberto are in the kitchen. Kemal, Makosi and Vanessa are in the loft.

Derek says ‘who’s the thief? Who put 8 cans of lager on the shopping list.’

Kemal tells Makosi that Anthony does like her. Makosi says she thinks he’s lying. Kemal says Anthony’s afraid of the cameras and Makosi says he just loves them. Makosi is shocked to hear that Anthony doesn’t want sex on TV, to which Kemal responds, ‘I don’t want sex on TV, he would do it because he cant say no…I don’t know why you like him.’ Makosi says Anthony’s too short and could do with growing another 15cm.

2.12pm
For the weekly task, Big Brother has converted the house into a Workhouse. If they pass the task they will be rewarded with a luxury-shopping budget. If they fail they will receive £1 a day. Housemates have been gathered around the dining room table so Vanessa can read the group today’s instructions. Maxwell’s task is shelling prawns and unlike other days this week, today his fellow housemates have no idea what he is doing. Maxwell dances into Room 101 and begins shelling prawns.

In the house Vanessa says, ‘I love the way we don’t know what’s going on.’ Makosi has the feeling they’re about to be ‘punked.’

In Room 101 Maxwell sings ‘I am The One and Only’ as the housemates discover their cakes, wine and giant chess.

3.24pm
By volunteering to be worker number 1, Maxwell has become the unlucky housemate. While he works, the rest of the HM's will receive special treats. In order to pass the task, the other housemates must keep this a secret from Maxwell. Maxwell has been in the workhouse for 30 minutes. Big Brother has prepared a Garden party for the remaining housemates. It consists of garden games, a selection of cakes and wine.

Saskia asks Derek if he’d like children. He tells her he adores children but thinks it’s unfair to use them as a social experiment. He’d like his children to get married and have babies but thinks it would be too hard for them to make the differentiation. He states, ‘I’m not in favour of gays adopting.’

3.40pm
Maxwell is still shelling prawns in Room 101. Housemates are still partying in the garden and are drinking bottles of wine.

Anthony uses the garden hose as a microphone and shouts, ‘Lets get ready to rumble!’ Makosi and Vanessa wrestle in bikinis on the Chess Board whilst Kemal sprays them with water. Kemal and Vanessa wrestle followed by Makosi, Vanessa and Kemal.

3.55pm
Most of the housemates are in the garden enjoying the garden party. Anthony is in the Diary Room. Big Brother tells Anthony to tell the housemates they have 5 minutes to clear the garden. Anthony is a little tipsy and finds it hard to concentrate. He asks, ‘can I have a wrestle first.’ Big Brother replies ‘you have 5 minutes starting form now.’

Anthony tells the housemates they have 5 minutes and they start clearing the garden. Makosi is drunk and can’t get her trousers on. She falls over and Kemal helps her up.

4.11pm
Big Brother has instructed housemates to clear all evidence of the garden party and make their way to the workhouse. Maxwell is due to finish his shift in 2 minutes. While he has been shelling prawns the rest of the housemates have drunk 5 bottles of wine. Housemates have been given pig’s blood, manure and prawns to utilise as evidence for their supposed day’s work.

Makosi leads the housemates into Room 105. As she wobbles down the corridor she attempts to open Room 101 but is pulled away. The housemates shriek as they discover 3 trays containing pig’s blood, manure and prawns. Derek tells them to concentrate.

Maxwell is given permission to leave Room 101 and he enters the kitchen and washes his hands. Craig follows and Maxwell asks what’s wrong with his eyes. Craig tells him he got upset. Maxwell says he’s spent the past couple of hours in a room eating pizza, so Craig says he had chicken and chips. Derek enters her house and tells Maxwell he’s been cutting pigs trotters, since he believes the others have been eating nice food, he says he regards this as ‘discrimination.’ It isn’t until Saskia enters that Maxwell tells the truth about peeling prawns. Makosi stumbles in and Derek reminds her of the task, saying ‘you’ve been peeling prawns.’

5.12pm
Big Brother has called the housemates to the living area to reveal the results of this week’s nomination. Big Brother reveals Derek and Roberto are up for nomination. Maxwell refers to them as the ‘golden oldies,’ Roberto replies ‘we’re too old for your game’ and Derek says ‘champagne all round.’

5.34pm
Derek is in the showers. Roberto is in the garden with Kemal, Makosi and Vanessa. Craig, Saskia and Maxwell are talking under the bed covers. Makosi, Kemal and Vanessa are singing a Destiny’s Child song.

Under blankets, Craig says he must get over his crush. Saskia (who already knows about Craig’s crush) encourages him to confide in Maxwell. Craig confirms he fancies Anthony. Maxwell is surprised Craig doesn’t fancy him and asks if it started from the beginning. Craig says only recently did he think ‘mmm bonjour!’

6.12pm
Vanessa, Makosi and Anthony are in the bedroom. Craig and Saskia are by the showers. Roberto, Science and Derek are in the garden.

Roberto says ‘at a certain age you know who you are. If there were older people here I’d have better interaction.’ Science says he thinks he doesn’t interact on Roberto’s level and finds it hard talking to the rest of the housemates. He likes Derek talking about politics because he learns things. Derek says ‘its exhausting being our age, you become weak and short and you need space to escape from the fighting and bickering. He concludes ‘I have nothing to prove here.’

9.48pm
In the bedroom, Kemal is talking about Roberto. ‘He can cook and wear an apron but he’s a sly little shit,” he says. Makosi says she thinks he’ll be portrayed on the programme as a sexy Italian stallion.

Saskia is in the garden, downing lager and burping. As Science pours himself some wine, Maxwell tries to take it from him. Craig asks him to leave it but Maxwell persists and chases him around the kitchen shouting ‘****ing thief’ Science asks Maxwell to step back because he has bad breath, saying ‘plaque attack.’

Big Brother calls Maxwell to the Diary Room to calm him down. Maxwell says, ‘**** about…he’s wound me up and he’s pissing me off.’

As he exits Science says ‘nice wine’

10.02pm
In the garden, Saskia laughs as she refers to Science’s comment about Maxwell’s breath. Maxwell looks withdrawn so Saskia offers him a snog…he accepts. After the kiss she tells him he smells of prawns.

10.49pm
Vanessa tells Maxwell he was wrong for changing the shopping list. Maxwell explains he thought it was unfair that they had biscuits and he had nothing. Vanessa says he was sly about it. They argue back and forth and once Maxwell has stated his reasons he asks if she still thinks it was wrong. Saskia asks Vanessa why she waited 5 days to mention the issues she has with the shopping list. She then tells her she knows about her stolen crisps. ‘I didn’t say anything but you’re a greedy bastard, we know you like your food and if you said it straight away then fair play.’ Derek interrupts and demands resolutions.

In the kitchen Craig and Science are discussing the food situation. Craig thinks Maxwell should be let off because he’s doing a task whilst they have treats. Science says, ‘you didn’t say that the other day.’ Craig replies ‘at the end of the ****ing day, I don’t ****ing care.’ Science tells Craig his behaviour is typical of a Libran so Craig shouts ‘I’ve been your strongest supporter and all you do is ****ing argue with your ****ing friends…moron.’ Derek tells Craig to calm down and not respond. Science says, ‘I gave you the confidence not to walk out the back door….’

2.13am
Kemal is in the loft with Makosi. He tells her, ‘we’re so similar and it freaks me out…I didn’t expect to come here to find another diva…why are we both here?’

Craig and Anthony come to the Diary Room. Craig tells Big Brother he fell down the stairs holding bread and a knife. He says, ‘I think I’ve broken my arms…but I’ve saved the bread!’ Craig asks Big Brother who would win a wrestling fight. Anthony jumps on him and gets him in a headlock. Craig squeals and Anthony laughs. Craig says ‘Big Brother I bet you loved that you dirty bitch’

Anthony requests a large pillow for Craig big head. He farts and Craig says it’s a breech of health and safety…’errr grotesque’

You obviously have inside knowledge Master Ozzy and it seems reasonable to think you work at C4!

What do the technicians and editors and floor crew think about the show and the editing?

There was a rumour a member of the crew contacted the police about the bullying of Sam because she was so distressed at what was actually happening to Sam (stuff not show on highlights or live feed).

Are they ashamed or stressed about what they have to do, or do they not care?

I wonder why?... NOT! Just another example of Chavwell and his Bint getting away with ignoring basic rules.
