Which US films should the Japanese remake?

In responce to the US copying great Asian horror films and trying to convert the stories to fir in with Western culture, eg.the stupid horse story in 'The Ring,'I think the Orient should get their own back on Hollywood by remaking their films badly.

How about 'Taxi Driver' set in the floating markets of Thailand?

Or Pearl Harbour told from the perspective of a woman who's husband is a kamikaze pilot?

They don't need to.

Plus, that Pearl Harbour idea, wouldn't be a remake, would it?

Blair Witch Project, Willy Wonka, Austin Powers (how the hell would THAT work), The Terminator, Final Destination. Would really like to see a Japanese Batman, transferred to Tokyo with electronic music and possibly set in the future, that'd be really weird. Oh, and a violent anime version of On Golden Pond.

Isn't Reservoir Dogs a remake - or rip off - of a Hong Kong film, City On Fire?
