I've just posted this in your other thread.

The railway has now been closed.

Do the police know how long it's been there? Is it possible to catch a train from the train station to Luton airport?

Normally, yes but trains on that line are currently suspended.

For the info of anyone local this alert is at Luton Central not Luton Airport Parkway.

I was just about to head that way to get my daughter's hair cut but traffic will be bad so I'll wait until tomorrow.

Thanks Beth,

BBC News are now reporting that the police are now searching the car and the station should be reopened in 20 mins or so.

Does the 321 go near you? If you can get to the airport you can get it from there.
