Ever wondered what Anfernay's dear old gran makes of it all?

Not sure, but I picture something like this ... Anfernay's dear old nan sat in the dining room, glued to her nightly fix of BB, and his mum Annette, away through the service hole, in the kitchen sipping gin and tranquilisers.

Anfernay's nan: Eee, Annette, pet ... woor Ant'nee an' his yoong friend do make us laugh, alwuz up to theirs japes an' that ...

Anfernay's mum: Sorry, mam?

Anfernay's nan: I said, woor Ant'nee an' his yoong friend thez gettun along grand like.

Anfernay's mum: Sniff ...Aye, mam, spurse so ...

Anfernay's nan:Aye, coople of canny lads all reet ... Annette, pet, woz rimming?

Anfernay's mum: Wassat, mam?

Anfernay's nan: Rimming, pet? Woor Ant'nee's yoong friend jus' asked if woor Ant'nee likes rimming like ...

Sound of gin being suddenly projectile spat across the room from the kitchen.

Anfernay's nan:I spurse it'll be something to do with woor Ant'nee's seventies dancing like, eh, pet?

Anfernay's mum: Cough, splutter.Aye, mam, that'll be it.

Anfernay's nan: Thought sooo ... Annette, pet, woz tha' name o' tha' little feller huz on tha' Little Brutha thing like?

Anfernay's mum:You mean Dermot, mam.

Anfernay's nan:Aye, thaz tha' wan, pet ... Ah wuz jus' thinkun' like, it'd be a canny good laugh like to see woor Ant'nee and his yoong friend doin' a bit of rimmin' wiv tha' Dermot feller on BBLB when thuz get oot, doont yer reckon?

Smash from the kitchen, as a gin glass crashes to the floor.

I'm sure his gran would be a lot more proud of him if Anthony told Craig to f... off or beat the crap out of him!

What do you expect her to make of it all????

It's Craigs relatives who will be feeling more uncomfortable.

I read in Now magazine that the gay stuff is getting her down now - she doesn't know why people keep going on about it.

Well, I don't expect her to make much of it. I was having a little fun ... I'm sure she knows what rimming is in reality, and would advise Antony not to do it on a first date.

I really doubt that a Granny from Consett knows what rimming is. Heck, I didn't know what rimming was til I was over 30 and I've lived in London for years! Does your Granny know what rimming is?

lol I also read in Now magazine an article all about how his gran is supporting him all the way but the gay thing was getting her down. There was a picture of her holding a picture of Anthony with a caption of "Anthony to Win" or something like that. (correct me if i'm wrong please anyone)

Basically, from what I remember, the general jist was that:

- Anthony is in no way gay, he is just a playful lively fella who likes to take care of himself.
- The family love Craig and would love him to come round for a cup of tea when he leaves the house - lmao
- He's not racist at all because he has to black friends who are lovely and come round their house and "kiss her on the cheek" - lol aw.
- She didn't like the antics with Makosi and the pool... and she thinks the pregnancy thing was a pretty terrible thing to make up.
- No matter what she still supports her Anthony and did I mention, she said "he is NOT GAY!"

They didn't come across as particularly bright though. Anthony's video message from his nan was pretty pathetic. That said, how any of their family could say they were so proud of them beggars belief. What is there to be proud of? Mortified, yes, but proud..?

The wording of the task this morning was very interesting - they finished with "Big Brother's love is unconditional". Now where've I heard that before?

Yes, she's thoroughly modern. I thought 'cottaging' meant looking for a little place to buy in the country before me nan put me right. ;-)

True. Perhaps she hasn't thought about the wider implications of what she is saying or maybe she is just going but what Ant himself has said which is that he is not gay.
