Did Craig get his tactics from this book??

I just heard Craig say he knows what Derek is doing because he(Craig) had read a book about strategies before he came on.I THINK he said it was The Art of War by Sun Tzu. If so thats'a book all about strategies for winning, originally written about winning wars it's principles can be applied to winning anything.

I am seriously wondering if Craig is trying to use the principles in the book to win BB.Here are a few quotes from the book.

Quote:
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him
Quote:
If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
Quote:
The clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy's will to be imposed on him.
Did anybody hear for sure if this was the book he was referring to?

i think i've heard derek mention machiaveli's prince too...

"Machiavelli's The Prince has long been used and studied as a manual for those who are
already in power or for those who wish to have power. Through rational thinking about
political power, Machiavelli is the authoritative source on how one should lead and
govern. "

it could have been science.. (sounds stereotypical..) but he's likely to know about both this and the art of war through 2pac who changed his moniker to Makaveli shortly before he died)

Is that what he said

He was definitely saying that he was glad he had read this book before he came in because he could see exactly what Derek was doing and he reckoned he must have read it too.Did anyone else hear if it was THIS book he was talking about ? I'm 99% sure it was

He sure did. Even Davina repeated it on the opening night.

Found it feelsolucky. It was just a brief mention

Quote:
The point being that a la Art of War thinking, the way you approach a situation is you assess it carefully and properly then you go forth. If you think it through carefully then you have your plan in place before the dance begins. As Sun Tzu says if you find yourself in a battle then you've already lost the war.

What's granting him with more intelligence than he has.. saying he has read the book or saying he might be trying to put what he read in the book into practise?
