Recording Prem Plus on Sky+

Only recently got 2 Sky+ 160 boxes and apart from the DD sound drop-out problem on Sky Movies 1-3, I am pretty happy.

But I came accross a little problem on Saturday - I have the Premiership plus season ticket, and on Saturday watched the first half of Everton Man Yoo - I was leaving to go and watch my local team Glentoran so I pressed record on Sky+ to tape the second half - A message came up saying this was not possible.

Now, I was just wondering - obviously Prem Plus is a 'pay-per-view' channel - But what are the restrictions on recording it with Sky plus, and what other channels are affected by this.

Thanks.

Steve.

It appears there are problems if you attempt to record the match after transmission has started by pressing the REC button.

The best way to do this appears to be to manually record the remaining part - however probably the best solution is to record the whole game using REC button before the start of transmission and watch the recording for as long as you have got then watch the rest when you return
