If you adore Simon Cowell...come say 'hi' here so I am not alone!

I have searched back but couldn't find many threads on Simon....so thought I would start this as Ben and Sharon seem to have their own threads..plus some contestants.

I adore him. Always have. I know he can be rude, arrogant and obnoxious..but I like that in him! He can also be funny and have a laugh.

Also, although he may release records I wouldn't buy, I have never disagreed with what he has said as a judge on Pop Idol, or American Idol or the X factor. If someone is crap, he tells it like it is, and he is usually right. And usually says exactly what I am thinking.

And he's not bad to look at it....I wouldn't push him out of bed!!

Let's face it..the show would not be the show if he wasn't there...love him or hate him....he has the X factor!

Purr it here if you like him too.

Purr.

He may not like an act, or a voice, but he does not make petty or vindictive comments that are designed to just be spitefull and make the contestants feel lower than scum ... Simon I feel, generally tries to make his comments constructive about the act .... and does not make it personal

The same cannot be said for either of the other judges.

Definitely he's never insulting in a really horrible way when people are serious about singing, and even with the people who are a true joke, if he says something like "horrendous" he usually just giggles along! He's looovely

its a bit fashionable to hate simon but face it he speaks his mind and
manipulates the gullible
he has made millions using his knowledge of music and pop fans
to the point that he can be himself on tv and pick the acts
that will fall for his charm then drop them only to be hated
but hey he,s made cash from them so good wor simon
your a talented guy
and such a gent

love him hate him mr catch 22

I agree 100%.

That poor man who was told he was barking last night by Sharon had me a bit sad. Okay, he was eccentric, but that doesn't mean he was mad..and he was obviously crushed by that.

Saying someone is barking has nothing to do with whether you can sing or not.

I don't mind Sharon, but thought that was OTT.

I'm a huge fan too............he says what he believes to be true. He can be harsh but sometimes these people need a reality check...Simon gives them that.

He's hot too!

Ignoring your obvious lust for the high waisted one, I too find his advice spot on. He only seems to be heavy handed with the deluded ones - and those are the contestants that need to hear No Talent spelt out in words that they understand.
Definately would be a poorer show without Simon.

I was beginning to think nothing in life could surprise me anymore but you just managed it....

To completely misquote Mrs Merton - exactly what do you find attractive about the millionaire Simon Cowell?

Only the once unfortunately. It was at the Pop Idol aftershow party (the original Pop Idol), we had a chat and I pinched one of his fags.

Satchmo, when he talks to you one on one, you have his undivided attention, as if there's no-one or nothing else in the room. He's polite, witty, muscular, has perfect teeth, deep brown eyes.........
