Peterborough NOW

I have a problem on my Intempo PG01.

I know the P'boro transmitters for DAB are back up and running.

My Intempo PG01 is upstairs in the PE7 postcode area. I get the BBC and Digital 1 stations with strongest possible signal and they sound like you'd expect.

However the Peterborough NOW stations, e.g Hereward, Chill etc, whilst I get a full signal they are very broken and crackly - but not like the sound you get on a bad signal - does this make sense?

The Pure Evoke 1 I have downstairs in the kitchen picks up all three (Now, Dig 1, BBC) with no problems in sound clarity whatsoever.

I can't see that this is a problem with my Intempo, as it works fine on BBC and Digital 1 ??

Any thoughts people?

Thanks,
Al

Has your Intempo ever been able to pick up Peterborough properly?

Even though it's on the NOW multiplex, does BBC Radio Cambridgeshire sound ok?

BBC Cambs sounds fine.

Do you have any idea what may be the problem?

everything on now peterborough sounds great on my radio, may be a fault with your unit receiving on a certain part of the spectrum.

Yes, it seems your DAB radio has problems (a possible design fault?) with stations broadcasting at a protection level of 2.
All stations on NOW Peterborough are set at this level except for BBC Cambs.
Give Intempo a ring and see if they're aware of the problem.

This is a specific problem that effects the Intempo radios. They're aware of it and I think they'll 'fix' your radio if you contact them.
