Halal food in Glasgow

Can anyone recommend a good Halal restaurant in Glasgow? A group of people from work are being taken out by one of the senior management as a thank you for the team's hard work this coming month, and two of our team are Muslims. I thought it's be nice if we went somewhere that they had a full menu to choose from for a change, rather than always being restricted to vegetable dishes.

You couldn't pay me to eat Halal, thanks to the way the animals are slaughtered.

I don't suppose that any of the ways in which animals are slaughtered, or indeed reared, would leave us meat eaters feeling very proud. This thread isn't really about the morality of the meat trade, though. I wouldn't dream of paying you to eat Halal, 10bellies, so you've no need to worry.

I'm not in favour of Halal - I'm a Veggie in fact - but there's a lot of Halal butchers in Pollokshields, its maybe too poor an area (well, the main part) for restaurants tho - might be worth a shot.

And there's nothing wring with vegetable dishes!!

May be worth asking in the halal butchers if they could recommend a resturant given they will probably be either supplying some or just personally eating there.
