Robbie Bach has overturned a comment by Bill Gates that Halo 3 would launch at the same time as PS3, in an attempt to lure buyers to Xbox360 instead.

Bach is saying the game will come out when it's ready, and won't be used as a gimmick to try and knock the wind out of Sony's launch (like it ever could!)

Reading between the lines, don't expect Halo 3 anytime soon, certainly not by Spring '06 when PS3 is due to arrive.
