How bloody awful is Burger King?
Yesterday during my lunch break I went to Burger King because McDonalds was packed. I rarely go to BK these days and I now remember why. The service is rubbish, firstly they don't have napkins you have to ask for them. Which I forgot because Im used to McDonalds where you get them yourself. Then ate my whopper. Ewww is all I can say, the bun was clearly stale although the burger itself was OK and those bloody awful chips. Yuck, they taste like a really cheapy brand of frozen chips and leave a horrible aftertaste. The place was filthy dirty and it was full of chavs screaming and shoutung.
So basically I won't be going there again soon! |

It's very rare now i'll eat in BK, McDonalds etc, the food isn't good for you at all. Much prefer a sandwhich from Bakers Oven or Subway a healthier option.
I do occasionally have a Big Mac cause they taste nice though

That's a shame. Before I decided that fast food was swiftly becoming the death of me I used to like Burger King best... Proper barbecue taste. There's no excuse for dirty or stale though.

LOL - I used to be scared of eating at Burger King.
I think it's very expensive compared to Mcdonalds. |

Their chips are much nicer than McD's, which taste of pale cardboard.

The thing that annoys me the most about Burger King is at motorway or A road services Burger King hike their prices up.
I know it's only a couple of quid but it's the principle, McDonalds and KFC don't increase their prices at motorway services. Regarding service, KFC seem to have the most incompetent staff. Don't ask me why, it's just an observation. |

Sparklebabe - criticising one BK does not mean all BKs are the same. They are all seperate as they are operated by franchises. I prefer BK to McD but haven't been to either for a long time. Much prefer Subway.

![]() Had a really nice McD at Liverpool Street Station this week, and all the staff smile at you! ![]() BK are ok, but you do get what you pay for. You should probably go to a Wetherspoons or a proper restaurant if you want a nice burger and chips. |

My theory about Mcdonalds and the like is all the food is manufactured in the states in some huge factory (most likely staffed by some kind of Umpa Lumpa race of beings) then cryogenicaly frozen and shipped throughout the world where they are warmed up and served. I've even seen CryoServe delivering liquid nitrogen to a McDonalds. Of course my mate who worked for McDonalds claimed it was CO2 for the drinks but then he was obviously in on the conspiracy.

I agree with what someone said about BK's chips being awful.
About a month or so ago, when BK were coming to the end of their 99p Bacon Double Cheeseburger promotion, I and a few friends went into a local BK to get one. A man in front of us in the queue was furious when he was told that they had sold out, and told the innocent girl behind the counter of how the signs should be taken down, and that BK were breaking the Trades Descriptions act of selling a product which wasn't avaliable. |

I'd much rather go to the Pizza Hut than McDonalds, Burger King or KFC but then I guess that isn't really fast food.

There was always a huge amount of smoke coming out of my local BK though, it's a wonder that the Fire Brigade wasn't on permanent standby. |

The fries at BK are crap. We all know that McDonald's' Fries aren't good for you but they at least muster some degree of flavour and the potato they use seems a little more realistic. Burger King's fries on the other hand taste like bits of potato that have been wallowing in butter and have a completely false crispness to them. And they are ridiculous overpriced when compared to McD's fries.
The burgers at BK do taste a little more like meat but the prices are just way too much for what isn't very good quality food. |

I've never liked Burger King. I've eaten there once and that was enough. The burgers just taste like a bad barbeque job to me. Awful

I love Burger King
My local BK serve you quickly and you get the food hot, which is a lot more than can be said for McDonalds although BK is more expensive than McD. I only eat there once every so often now but I would prefer BK to any other fast food restaurant.

Although I do think twice now before eating at either Burger King or MaccyD's as I got bad food poisoning last year from eating a burger at their Piccadilly branch. Not nice, I can tell you - chucking up every so often and being needing to be near a toilet, having horrible stomach crmap, unable to eat anything as it would come straight back up and also feeling generally crap. |
