Ian, meanwhile, threatens to go to the police about the loss of his money, but realises that there is nothing he can do.

Phil tells Peggy that they will have to be straight with Sam about her future, but Sam ’s not surprised by what they tell her.

Alfie plans the next wish for Nana – a curry night.. However, not everything goes according to plan for Alfie and he has to resort to other measures.

Elsewhere, Ian gets a shock when he tries to stop Wellard eating the sandwiches in the café.

Dawn, Mo and the other market traders smirk at Ian as he hobbles towards the café. Gus apologises to Ian but he ’s not having any of it and contacts the police.

Honey tries to talk to Billy but he snubs her. She tells him that she ’s packed in her job because of how much misery it causes.

They both then realise that they have a lot in common – neither of them can manage to hold down a job. However, Billy comes up with an idea …

Phil warns Billy that he is expecting the police to come round asking questions and asks him to keep quiet. When the police arrive in the Square, Johnny wishes them luck as they begin their search.

Following her antics on Friday night, Martin challenges Sonia to remember what she said to him. They also argue over Sonia’s concern for Naomi and her apparent lack of concern for him.

Later, Sonia seeks out Naomi to get some advice on the state of her marriage.

Elsewhere, a menacing Johnny warns Juley to stay away from Ruby, and Billy arranges for Honey to have some professional photos taken.

Naomi and Sonia are both stunned. Sonia tries to ease the situation but it’s obvious that Naomi's feelings run much deeper.

Meanwhile, Pauline is adamant that she doesn't want another man in her life, although she is worried that she has completely blown it with Joe.

When a bunch of white roses is left at the Fowlers’ doorstep, both Pauline and Sonia think that they are for them ...

Kat wonders if Alfie has a new woman when she sees him with Dr McCulloch. However, when she asks her, she realises that she is Nana’s doctor and goes to speak to Alfie.

Elsewhere, Pat is keen to get away from Frank. However, when he catches up with her, he begs Pat to tell him what she knows.

Stacey feels the pressure of having to care for Jean. When Stacey goes out she is horrified when she realises that people stood by and did nothing to help.

Elsewhere, Pat is furious when Frank reveals that he has seen Janine, and Chrissie outlines the plan for her defence.

Chrissie is unresponsive when she speaks to her solicitor. When she later sees Jake, she tells him her decision.

Pat is keen to see justice done but Frank is persistent with her. She refuses to listen.

You got to hand it to Kate Harwood. It has took time but she has put EE right back up there. The Stacey storyline sounds fantastic as it is about time she had something to really put her teeth into.
