Old Dog & New Trick

So, who says you can't teach AN OLD DOG a NEW TRICK?

Did anyone spot Arlene's ploy this week?

Having finally learned that all the vitriol she pours on the contestants (i.e. James) had the opposite effect to that which she desired (getting him thrown out of the comp).

Last week she was busy telling everyone not to vote for James, this week she was banging the table telling everyone to vote for him as he should be in the final and hey....guess what...it worked, he didn't get the sympathy vote.

so you see...an Old Dog DID learn a new trick

After his foxtrot, she said that on that performance alone he deserve a place in the final. This was clearly before the rumba.

ROFL, she even said "GET DIALLING" and was punching the desk (or hand) with her index finger.

Oh I see...I think she was giving him her own brand of sympathy then. Because last week she correctly prophesied that the mauling he got from her would enable him to stay in with the public vote
