Chantelle - the Tania of CBB4? - Big Brother

I remember when Tania first went in everyone thought she was gonna be a bimbo and a slapper. But by the time she got evicted, people thought she was nice and reserved. Now, I've seen/heard similar comments about Chantelle, but I think she's coming across like Tania did in BB4.

I thought Tania was generally disliked by everyone she was booed on her exit (that was before the crowd booed everyone regardless)

I wouldn't say she was generally disliked by everyone, some people did but people thought a lot less of her on opening night.

The reaction to Tania was in some ways strange, but in others just typical female-disliking.

The strange part was all the "Dave", "Mania", "looks like a man" stuff.

(I have seem complaints DS:BB that Chantelle looks like a man!

A curious coincidence?)

The typical part was "Two-faced Tania" (because she'd nominated Sissy while at least seeming to be her friend), claims that she was "false", criticism of her emptional reaction to being called "piggy", etc.

Her blusher obsession partly amused, partly caused dislike.

IMO she actually was nice, fairly reserved, and smarter than she was given credit for. She got along very well with the other women in the house, and, by the week when she was evicted, there was a campaign to keep her in because most of the fun in the house seemed to involve her in one way or another.

(This is all from the point of view of the C4 forum, because I didn't read much DS:BB then.)

Anyway, I think the lesson from this for Chantelle is that she will have to walk a narrow line to avoid attracting any of the "typical" criticisms.

(She should be safe for now, though, in any case, because the "haters" are busy targeting Jodie.)

Whatever happened to Tania - I liked her too

I think of Helen when I see Chantelle with hints of Jade

Fabia looks more like a man IMO

Pete looks like an overdone woman, Jodie an overdone woman

I thought Tania was a nice lass to be honest. She didn't seem at all stuck up in the house..and if she did get booed on exit..then I think this might have been undeserved. I always manage to miss the evictions

Chantelle is a much better housemate than tania.Chantelle has a much better personality and is much better looking.

I can't help but like Chantelle,don't think I'd do so well in her position but hey I can sing and know what gynecologists do

Hope she stays

I think Tania was a nice girl but a far blander character.

Why do people always compare hms and try to match them up. Shes the Chantelle off cbb4, not the Tania, not the Helen and not the Victor or anyone else. Jesus it does my head in.

i didnt mind tania, she wasnt the most entertaining but she was pretty harmless and nice enough. she did seem to have a lot of haters towards the end of her stay,not too sure why. dont remember her getting booed though cant have been bad booing like most of bb5,bb6 lot got. most people i know seem to like chantelle
