*Spoiler* - Who Voted For Who

Whilst the housemates do not know how each of the others actually voted in the privacy of the Diary Room. Here's who voted for who….

Chantelle – Rula and George

Dennis – Preston and Jodie

Faria – Jodie and Pete

George – Jodie and Pete

Jodie – Pete and George

Maggot – Pete and Jodie

Michael – Dennis and Jodie

Pete – Jodie and George

Preston – George and Faria

Rula – Dennis and Jodie

Traci – Jodie and Preston

The nominations tally after ONE round of eviction nominations are as follows:

Chantelle - 0
Dennis - 2
Faria - 1
George - 4
Jodie - 8
Maggot - 0
Michael - 0
Pete - 4
Preston - 2
Rula - 1
Traci - 0

Chantelle, Maggot, Michael and Traci received no nominations.

Each housemate had to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees and failure to do so could have resulted in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:

Chantelle nominated Rula because “I just feel as though she looks through me…she ignores me when I speak to her. You know when you know someone doesn’t like you? She’s very controlling. She’s got to be in the middle of everything…she’s clocking everything I’m eating. I feel as though I can’t move…I feel suffocated in the kitchen.” She also nominated George because “he more or less said I was uneducated. He said he couldn’t understand why I was a when I come from Essex because most vegetarians come from North London.” Also, “he completely insulted me. He always thinks he’s right and wants ‘order in the court’. George, we’re not in the Houses of Parliament now!” She added, “I’m not below him…I don’t like the way he makes me feel like I am below him.” Plus, “I said I’m middle class and he said I’m working class. Don’t try to make me feel stupid.”

Dennis nominated Preston because “he’s a little young…he just seems lost and doesn’t fit in…he just doesn’t belong here in this community/environment. He’s too shy and not open enough to be involved in the house. He’s always trying to find his place with different groups…he doesn’t seem to have anything in common with anyone.” He added, “he’s too square, too conservative…rock stars don’t act like that.” Dennis voted for Jodie because “she bitches too much about sh*t that got her famous. She said ‘I hate people talking about me, about my saggy tits,’ but she forgot that’s what got her in here, got her in the tabloids…that’s what got her famous.”

Faria nominated Jodie because “she’s had a tough time but brings a lot of trouble…I think she draws attention to herself a lot. She’s quite argumentative, even at the slightest thing. She draws attention to herself for the wrong reasons…” She added, “I just think she creates a bit of animosity, uneasiness with the older people.” Plus, “she doesn’t have to put it out there…I find the belt thing very offensive and unnecessary…doesn’t leave much to the imagination.” She voted for Pete because “he complains a lot, stays up a lot and talks a lot. Those things annoy me. He doesn’t seem to be happy with anything…he always seems to be a hypochondriac.”

George nominated Jodie because “she’s a very troublesome element and a very troublesome person. She’s very negative and always looking for an argument. She neither cooks nor cleans, she’s rocking the boat…she is constantly looking for points of points of difference which she picks at… we can’t afford that…my absolute requirement is to seek harmony, she’s the opposite…she’s sexually obsessed of the crudest variety.” He voted for Pete because “he sings like an angel but is the housemate from hell. He is a person who is fantastically obsessed with appearance…the only man I know who took that long in the toilets when people are crossing their legs,” and “he’s crude…you cannot sit beside him for 2 minutes before he does hand gestures, mouth gestures…”

Jodie nominated Pete because “he called me the lowest of the low for taking revenge on my ex-boyfriend. That’s none of his business,” and “he’s doing the least amount of any work around the house. He’s never done any cooking, cleaning, drying dishes and he takes all your cigarettes…and his gorilla coat because I don’t agree with wearing fur…” She added, “I feel he’s picking on me a bit…to look at him annoys me.” She nominated George because “I felt like he was picking on me yesterday,. He started an argument because of things I believe in. He's old enough to be my dad but I feel bullied by him…and what he said to Chantelle about her being uneducated. I don’t think George is a very nice person. He hasn’t made any effort to get to know me or Chantelle…”

Maggot nominated Pete because “I believe he’s looking a bit unhappy,” and “he argued with Jodie yesterday and it went on a bit. I don’t mind a heated debate but it’s got to go somewhere. Don’t dwell on it. If Pete stays in the house there will be massive fireworks.” He nominated Jodie because “I see her looking unhappy now and a bit glum” and because of its “effect on the house and effect on the morale of the group…I think the house will get on better without her.”

Michael nominated Dennis and Jodie. His main reason for nominating Dennis was his lack of participation. “He could join in a few times rather than being aloof.” He added that Dennis lacked “generosity of spirit” and feels that communal living should be “joining in all round and not just when it suits you”.

He chose Jodie because “everybody’s to blame with everything that’s wrong with Jodie’s life”. He explained how he tried to advise her, “We can’t have a conversation if you don’t deal with your anger”, but that it fell on deaf ears. “I can see in her eyes that I’m the enemy…I’m trying to help to mend other people.” Michael became saddened by Jodie’s attitude and the atmosphere it created in the house. He added that he finds her “manipulative”.

Pete firstly nominated Jodie. “I’m just not comfortable around her energy,” he explained. “I don’t like occupying the same space as her.” He talked about their clashes. “Some of her views on things I find absolutely abhorrent to my principles.”

He referred to their heated debate over his fur coat, and said Jodie was “very ill-informed.” “If she’s gonna have views on things like fur, people are gonna have views on things like her tits.”

He talked about her bitching and hypocritical behaviour. “She seems like a loose cannon, a very damaged girl.” Pete signed off, “I wouldn’t piss on her if she burst into flames.”

Pete then nominated George because he felt he had less to lose. “This is just a short stop for him…I don’t think it would make any difference to him whether he stayed or not.” Pete reasoned, “He’d be strongest to cope with the rejection…he can take it.”

Preston was next into the Diary Room. He nominated George for creating age-based divisions in the house: “He doesn’t seem to get on with young people.” Preston went on, “When Chantelle had her party, I overheard him say ‘She’s going to win it now…’

Preston then nominated Faria. “She just bores me to tears,” he said. “She’s not really earned the right to be in here, she’s just had sex with someone.” He also criticised her for using domestic prowess to gain popularity. “She fancies having a cookery show of her own…she’s trying to get in everyone’s favour by mothering everyone.”

Rula nominated Dennis. “He doesn’t seem to participate in any of the group duties…he seems to need to be waited on hand and foot.” She added that although she liked him a lot, his “constant sexual innuendo” bothered her. “He is always in the bedroom looking at the young girls getting dressed…I find it a little difficult to take.”

Rula next nominated Jodie for being “angry and aggressive”, explaining: “She carries a chip on her shoulder and she keeps needing to prove that what she imagines people to think of her isn’t true.”

Traci was last into the Diary Room and her first nomination was Jodie. “I have a sense that she’s making more than a few people uncomfortable in the house.” She went on to comment on Jodie being on the defensive. “She wants to attack…I think you can prove a point without offending people.”

She then named Preston as her second nomination, citing what she felt was his lack of participation. “I never got a sense that he ever actually wanted to be here,” she said. “I just don’t recall him doing chores around the house.”

Voting lines open at 8.15am today (Tuesday 10 January) during Big Brother’s Little Breakfast and will close during the LIVE 9pm Channel 4 programme on Friday 13 January, when the first evictee will be greeted by their friends, family and of course, Davina McCall, for their first post Celebrity Big Brother TV interview.

Surprised at George voting for Pete. I thought he'd have picked Dennis.

It's probably a press release. The evening standard online version has some of the details of the nominations printed already.

Interesting that the Americans nominated the same two. As usual, the least entertaining HMs got very few nominations.

Poor Jodie. That's an overwhelming amount of votes.

She needs to stay, but the GBP will never learn.

It could be interesting if its a vote to save but if its normal Jodies out. I'm suprised at Dennis voting for Preston, his description sounds like he has him mixed up with Maggot.

Out of all the noms Pete's have to be the most hypocritical:

So he nominated George for "humanitarian" reasons, because he can take the rejection, but couldn't give a damn about Jodie, has he got some sort of personal vendetta against her?? The more I see of Pete the more vile I am finding him

Thanks for the info Red Devil - that's interesting reading.
Personally, I agree with Preston's take on it. I think he's a very intuitive guy actually.
I'm very surprised that Traci nominated him - I think she's pretty desperate to win, though, & probably sees him as a threat.

God - the nominations of Preston are a bit weak aren't they - especially from Dennis. Sounds like he's describing himself there!

Thanks for that Red Devil - Teletext had been reporting Jodie got 8, George 6 and Pete 4, which confused me slightly as usually it's only two up for the vote.

Hopefully Jodie will go (though I completly understand the argument for keeping her in - i.e. arguments!). Pete should be safe - though there are suggestions that animal rights supporters could campaign to get him out due to his fur coat.

Exactly what I though - and for Traci read " he doesn't fancy me".

I think it may have something to do with the fact he seems to be quite the reserved british eccentric - total opposite of the brash american celebs. I don't think they "get" him. He is a bit "odd" (in a good way in my view).

I'm glad Jodie got the most votes - maybe it will make her realise everyone hates her selfish attitude.

Surprised by a couple of the Nominations, God, Jodie really has peaked too soon On re-reading Dennis' noms I am sure that he means Maggot - he constantly forgets (can't be bothered to learn peoples names.
I would love Jodie to leave purely beacause I can't stand her but for the good of the show I suppose it will be better for George to wave goodbye. Pete will definetly live to fight another day
