..I know..Preston!

As far as I know...Preston has not stuck his tongue down Chantelles throat or had sex, or anything near that...

But the last two days....it seems there is an anti Preston thing going on re: his GF and his behaviour.

Is it because Jodie has gone..so now we have to find someone new?

Helen and Paul come to mind. Helen had a BF..but no one seemed to care and now her and Paul are happy.

And what about Jordan? She had a very serious BF when she went into IACGMOOH and yet dumped him for Peter?

Preston has done nothing but talk and be playful...has he? Have I missed something?

I hate it here at the moment (sorry) as some people cannot see any positives...it is all.....bitch bitch bitch about who you do not like.

Fair enough. But I would rather talk about people I do like than do not like.

I am amazed at the anti Preston threads the last few days though. And the still anti Jodie threads...she has gone!

Itr does seem to be a few people who have gone from one to another...I am not saying everyone..I promise.

Anyway.....

Preston has not done anything 'bad' with Chantelle.

If he is a game player...and knows BB, as I know he does according to reports, why on earth did he stick with Jodie and Chantelle, as, if he is a game player, and if I were him, ....and having watched all BB's, they would be the last people I would stick with.

So if he is a game player...he has no idea!

Why are these boards sometimes.....bitch bitch bitch rather than, hey...they were okay, they were nice...

When I post (apart from the MB thread before BB which I will not apologise for) I tend to stick to who I like and want to win, rather than post thread after thread on who I hate? (Not that I 'hate' anyone. )

Why do alot of us have to see the bad things in everyone?

And seeing the crap dealt out by Pete, MB and George to various people in the house...why are some people picking the others off rather than them? Are they without fault in some peoples eyes?

I have had a wine..(without an 'h' ) or two....so that is my reason for daring to post. But I am posting what I have been feeling for a few days now.

I am sure I will be told off very soon!

I had an interesting conversation at a dinner party awhile back with one of those pfaw-pfaw types who feels that reality television is the reason the country is going down the tubes etc.etc. blah-blah. And I was explaining to him that reality television was actually doing the country a huge service because people who couldn't communicate easily and didn't want to talk about either 'The Weather' or 'football' now had something to talk about - whichever reality show is currently gracing our airwaves.

Well it also serves another purpose. It helps certain people let off steam. Instead of shouting about things in their lives that they're upset about or having difficulty with they can vent their spleen on BB or CBB or IACGMOOH or CLI or whatever is on at the moment. So they pack up all their anger and they come here and let it fly. That makes a bit difficult for those who want to have a measured conversation about the programme without it being a handbags-at-dawn exchange but there are enough nice people to balance it out.

Sometimes I do feel it's a shame that a small handful sometimes spoil it for the rest of us and you do want to say 'get some boxing gloves and punch yourself and leave us alone' - but hey - that's the wonders of the internet.

I also think its that house. Everything is window glass so you can always see what people are doing which makes it easier to talk about people.

I'd rather pick on Faria but every time she opens her mouth Sven comes out of it (though she's probably used to it being the other way round). She doesnt have any other conversation about her.

I didn't feel I was actually picking on JM, I simply felt that the bullying tag gets too easily attributed to some situations on RTV shows. Yes GG, MB and PB were out of order for the things they said, but so was JM at times too.

I also feel strongly about how some people on these shows use language that can turn a situation into something it isn't. Accusing people of attacking you, bullying you or having a go at you, can turn a difference of opinion from a standard shouting match into something a lot more sinister, and some people know just when and how to slot in certain phrases. When this happens, quite often the person making the claim that the situation is more than it is, often has their part in the proceedings overlooked.

Not always, but it has definitely happened on numerous occasions in BB and CBB.

I have to disagree with this point, I think Preston was cautiously friendly with Jodie and to an extent Chantelle. He knows exactly what he's doing

I kind of agree....in that I was having the same chat with my mum today. It is a bit like....'lets build up steam and get it all out on here regardless' sometimes.....and I am not knocking anyone for that.

I do it myself.

An example is the ITV ice dancing show......last night. I just watched it for something to watch (yes, I have no life and only watch reality shows...) but alot of people here wrote it off before it even started...and I thought it was okay in the end.

I guess my point was more about a few things I have noticed on here...where some people go from one, then to another, then if they go it will be another and start numerous threads about their new 'hate' figure..

I guess I am a mad woman (okay those of you who kind of know me...don't agree!) in that I would rather write about who I like than waste time writing about who (or is it whom? ) I dislike. And I tend to stick to my guns about who I like in any shows, unless they convince me otherwise.

I will have a good night Jenni....alot of wine and a half hearted promise of an apartment in Paris off it from two men!

It's only a cheesey yet entertaining TV show as far as I'm concerned. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over a few posts or threads that I don't agree with - I'm rarely in step with majority opinion on here but couldn't give two hoots anyway. I take from the programme and the forum what I want and discard the rest - live and let live I say.

Right ok, you probably meant me and others like me in your first post. I had absolutely not opinion of Jodie before the house, I knew of her and had read a few things. I disliked the way she behaved, intensely.

Now she has left I haven't been sitting here wondering who I'll pick on next. I have seen no anti-Preston threads at all. I do however have an issue with MB in there and an even bigger issue over JS being in there.

I knew next to nothing about Traci and from watching BB I think she is lovely. Faria is a nicer person than I realised and Rula has hidden depths, I had read some very bad things about her but my opinion has been swayed by her behaviour in the house. Preston and Maggot seem great lads too. I love Pete, as I remember him from my teenage years and those of his ilk.

You pick and choose what you want from reality TV, when I go to bed at night - it doesn't affect me. Its entertainment. Apart from the MB and JS issue - but that is Endemols fault.

In the incredibly annoying words of Nichola and the sex aid saleswoman from BB1, 'Its only a gameshow'.

What about the witch hunts on Maxwell, Craig, Makosi, Saskia and esepcially Lesley? Where they alright because they were not against the DS faves.
