*Spoiler* - Highlights From Tonight’s Show, Wednesday 18th January

Highlights from tonight’s show, Wednesday 18 January, 9pm on Channel 4

DENNIS, FARIA and PETE face eviction tonight, but who will the public vote out? Join Davina McCall LIVE at 9pm to hear the result of the public vote. Tonight’s show also includes highlights from the last 24 hours in the house.

Day 13
8.13am

Nominations are announced – Dennis, Faria and Pete are up for the public vote.
Later that morning, Rula and George are in the bedroom, talking about Traci and Dennis. Rula says she has found it hard to connect with them. Neither of them realise that Traci is in fact still in bed and listening to everything. Rula adds that Dennis is not easy to talk to as much of what he says is “just sexual”.
Outside in the kitchen Faria says to Dennis and Traci: “Do you think they’ll ever let a black or Asian girl or guy win this thing? Are you out of your tree? Think about it, darling. …Remember that…This country? Oh please! Don’t even get me going on that. They would never, they’d be up in f***ing arms.” Traci is perplexed. Faria tells her, “English society is hypocritical.”

11.00am
Traci recounts the conversation to the rest of the group, asking for their opinion. “For me, I thought it was going to be fair and square ... I thought I did have a chance to win…But according to Faria and Dennis, if you are a minority you can’t win…they feel they don’t stand a chance.”

Rula, Preston and George listen to her. Rula admits that she and Traci haven’t made much effort to connect but she shouldn’t feel that way, especially within the house. Preston adds that there are other ‘minorities’ in the house who haven’t been up for the public vote, “Michael is gay, Maggot is Welsh…” Rula adds that she’s considered too old in the eyes of much of the voting public. “We were all put in here for a reason and it has nothing to do with race and colour.” Traci says that there is racism “all over the world”, but Rula insists that the very idea of it hasn’t entered her head.

In the bedroom, Preston is talking to George. He tells George that he nominated two non-white people for various factors, but it had nothing to do with the colour of their skin. George agrees and says he nominated two black people, but again it was not because of their race.

11.55am
Back in the kitchen George rejoins the conversation of Michael, Chantelle, Traci and Rula about Dennis.

He says, "Far from my perception of if there has been any racism against Dennis, in fact people have been making huge allowances for his aggressive, rude and vulgar behaviour...”

Traci agrees, "We all have."

George continues, "...that they would never have for a white man." He goes on to explain, "A man who talks all day and all night about the size of his cock and who he is going to have sex with, and who he had had sex with...you don't put up with that kind of conversation from anybody, but we have put up with it from Dennis because we see something else in him too." George adds that he didn’t actually nominate Dennis.

Traci adds: "So then maybe that's why he was so obviously nominated in the house."

Traci tells the rest of the group that she is now just going to keep quiet and remain upbeat, and not speak her mind. Faria says she thinks Dennis is “upset” because he’s been nominated. Michael goes to talk to Dennis, who is silent on the sofas. Michael encourages him to join the others and have his say. Dennis gets up, saying, “Oh, this is funny shit.”

Dennis and Traci are in the bedroom dissecting the argument. Dennis asks Traci, “What have you created?” Traci responds, “I’ve created a TV episode!” They start to argue. Dennis is annoyed about the whole row, that he has had words put in his mouth. He says, “I don’t give a shit…I don’t live here…I won’t see these mother f***ers again!” He starts to predict how the whole furore will be played out. “They got their f**king show!” He says he will still be civil to everybody but adds, “I wish I never came on this goddamn show!”

12.30pm
Most of the group are at the dining table. Dennis and Faria are in the bedroom. She is explaining her mistake, how she misunderstood his comments about adding “colour” to the house, which led to the argument. She says she thinks everybody in the house apart from herself is in there because they are a celebrity, especially Dennis. She admits she took his comments the wrong way. Dennis blames Traci for causing the trouble, but Faria sticks up for her.

Faria admits to Dennis that maybe part of her sensitive reaction this morning is because of the nominations result. Dennis tells her that she is probably more upset because she knows who nominated her. Dennis declares that being up for eviction doesn’t faze him, and that he is “the most strong person in this house”, and that Faria doesn’t really know him. He complains that others seem to be listened to more, especially George, because he’s “respectable.” Faria says it’s more to do with Dennis’ use of “colourful” language than people disregarding him.

12.44pm
Everyone is at the dining table. Faria decides to try and address and resolve the issue. She apologises for her words this morning, and explains how she misunderstood Dennis’ comments, which led to the situation erupting. She starts to cry and says “it has hurt me”, especially now she is nominated.

5.05pm
George has been chosen by his housemates to perform the next task which will determine their shopping budget. He goes on Richard & Judy’s Channel 4 show to play ‘You Say, We Pay’. After successfully describing seven images, he wins the house Ł140 and the nine housemates all cheer him on his return.

Not sure if it is good for Faria
or bad. I'm undecided. I guess
it depends on where her tears
are placed in the show, and how
near cut off for the phone votes

Surely they should get banned from nominations next time round for doing that?
They have just admitted they nominated 2 of 3 people so its a bit blantant People have had warnings for doing less than that.

Innit. Up untill the end of BB4 anything even remotely linked to hinting at who you nominated, you were immeditely called to the diary room and given an official warning. It seems like since Victor Ebuwa's stint in BB the nominations discussion boundaries have been stretched.

I see a "Mary-esque" edit for Faria tonight.

Then again, there's not much else they COULD show.

Hopefully (for Pete) that comment will prompt a rush of voting to evict Faria.

I think it's going to look the worst for Dennis for some reason. Anyway, we'll see.
