Highlights From Tonight's Show, Thursday 19th January

Highlights from tonight's show, Thursday 19 January, 9pm on Channel 4

• Faria is the 2nd housemate to be evicted
• Preston and George must nominate in front of their housemates as punishment for previously discussing nominations
• There are repercussions for some of the housemates following the surprise nominations
• Pete decides to bait Traci…for fun

Day 14
9.48am

Michael is in the kitchen. Rula and George are in the seating area. Micahel asks George, "have you got any trips abroad planned?" George replies, "no, I've cleared my diary." They both discuss Parliament and George tells Michael, "my main focus in on my constituency."

Most of the other housemates are asleep in the bedroom. Alarm bells ring to wake the housemates up. Pete shouts out, "roll up, roll up, someone is going to be killed. One of the minorities is going to go…" Pete turns to George and discusses the amount of make-up Faria keeps putting on, especially as she wants "people to see the real me."

10.43am
All the housemates are in the house. Preston tells Rula the benefits of regular hugs and how they make you feel better. Rula agrees, "a hug a day keep the blues away." Pete tells the others that his mum never used to hug so Rula goes round and hugs all the housemates. She walks over to George saying, "George, you haven't had a hug yet." Faria asks George for a hug and they cuddle. Rula walks over to Pete and says, "Pete, come on, I'm not going to hug your face." Faria asks Dennis to "turn around and hug me."

12.29pm
Maggot, Faria and Chantelle are talking about Wales. Chantelle asks Maggot, "do you live anywhere near Dundee?" They all laugh and tell her that Dundee is in Scotland, not Wales.

Dennis tells Michael he knows what Big Brother is planning before it happens. "I know the script before it happens." Michael asks, "are you working in conjunction with Big Brother?" The pair then disagree. Michael tells the others, "he's just trying to wind me up. You think this is the 1st time I've had this kind of conversation…sounds like you're being a bit provocative!" Dennis responds, "everytime someone brings up a conversation, you get defensive." Michael responds, "you know what, I can't be arsed. I'm not going to enter into that kind of conversation." Dennis tries to conclude by saying, "you're making a big deal, you've taken it the wrong way."
Rula joins in and they discuss the race argument situation again. George says, "it wasn't his argument. Someone else told you it was his argument." Rula disagrees with him, sometimes although you're the cleverest here, you take the voice away." George walks away commenting that he was just trying to intervene but sometimes it's difficult to understand Dennis.

3.42pm
Big Brother has asked the housemates to paint self portraits to express themselves. If they complete the task they will be rewarded with alcohol, cigarettes and cigars.

4.40pm
The housemates are describing their self-portraits. Michael says, "this is a self portrait of me as I am now. My eyes are the soul of the world…this tear is to show I've learnt in here that it's ok to cry."

Dennis says, "I drew a portrait of something my 4 year old would draw…1 side I have anger, the other side is passion, missing emotion, tenderness, caring ness. I think it, I'm always going to have love."

Pete describes his painting, "this is my face, in your face for the world to see."

5.13pm
Preston, Chantelle and George are at the, Chantelle and Preston are play fighting. Dennis is called to the Diary Room to talk about tonight's impending eviction. He says, "I'm fine. You know what, once you leave the house you evaluate and move on and enjoy your life…I have a devious side…conservative people don't like to hear….I don't like people that have got a weak heart, weak mind…people are very emotional…you came here, wrote on the dotted line, try not to self destruct. You have to be strong to survive in the jungle."

9.35pm
Big Brother has gathered the housemates on the sofa for the next eviction. When the housemates hear Faria's name, Pete says, "I'm actually really jealous and resentful." Faria turns to her housemates, says "thank you all" and leaves. As she walks out the house Pete sings, "Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit Run Run Run…"

Traci is crying. She says, "this is really sad because she didn't want to go. She almost didn't feel like she deserved to be here."

10.17pm
It's been 36 minutes since Faria left the Big Brother house. Pete says, "Rula's face is like thunder," comments to George that Rula looks miserable even though she hasn't been evicted.

10.40pm
Chantelle, Preston, Maggot and Traci are in the Kitchen.

Pete is in the bedroom.

Maggot asks Chantelle what the capital of Luxembourg is..she answers correctly, which surprises him.

Preston comes into the bedroom and tells Pete that Maggot is trying to make Chantelle look stupid by asking her questions she may get wrong - he thinks he's out of order. He says, "they're playing a game of 'let's make Chantelle look like a ****** game'… she'll f*cking win this show." Pete agrees, "she's always a little ray of sunshine." Preston adds, "I love her, she's wicked."

11.50am
Big Brother has gathered all the Housemates to the dining table

George and Preston are called to the Diary Room.

The plasma screen comes on so all the other housemates can watch what is happening in the diary room.

Big Brother tells George and Preston that they are being punished for discussing nominations. They are asked to nominate three people that will be put up for eviction on Friday - they do not realise that they are being televised to the rest of the housemates.

George nominates Traci because she created a bad incident yesterday - Preston agrees and also says that he feels she has separated herself from the group.

Traci looks upset, and calls Preston "a traitor" - she is shocked.

Preston then says he would like to nominate Maggot as he felt he was trying to make Chantelle look stupid with his questions earlier - George goes along with his nomination. George says they should also nominate Rula as she is trying too much.

Meanwhile Dennis tells the other housemates that they should pretend that they didn't witness the nominations and in the Diary Room, George and Preston agree to not reveal what they just had to do.

When Preston and George come out of the Diary Room, Dennis congratulates them on their TV appearance - they look shocked when they find out that the other housemates heard what they said.

12.06am
It's been 4 minutes since Preston and George came out of the Diary Room.

George is in the Diary Room

Dennis, Pete and Traci are in the seating area.

Traci tells Dennis, "I'm not sad. I don't care." Dennis doesn't believe her, "if you didn't care you wouldn't react like that."

The rest of the Housemates are at the dining table. Maggot apologises to Chantelle and says to Preston "if you thought I was maker her look like a w*nker, you should have said."

Rula tells Preston, "I was the perfectly obvious choice. If we'd been in the same boat we'd have had the same problem…I had the same situation with these pants."

Pete hugs Preston and Rula concludes, "it was their punishment."

1.44am
Some of the housemates are in the living room. The rest of the housemates are in the house.

Preston asks George, "how you feeling?" George admits, "I feel bad that it was made public the way it was."

Meanwhile, Maggot comes in to the living room calling George "a 'f*cking w*nker." He is angry that he has been nominated. Rula says there's not enough room for a parliamentarian in the house. Dennis adds, "everytime I talk to him he's like Jesse Jackson." Maggot continues, "he's made a f*cking dent," and pretends to quote George, "I am a working class hero and I will prevail."

George tells Preston, "my only one regret was Maggot." Preston agrees that he "wouldn't have thought of him" if he hadn't made fun of Chantelle. George agrees, "you can laugh at something Chantelle says," but adds that you can't initiate a situation that makes her a joke. Chantelle hugs Preston, George and Pete and says, "you're my 4 favourite boys." Preston concludes, "I just feel like protecting you."

2.03am
Most of the housemates are in the Living Room. George, Maggot and Michael are in the Kitchen

The housemates discuss the nominations further. Traci tells Preston that she likes him, "I think you're f*cking incredible…with depth, integrity…"

Maggot tells George that "even with all this talk, I'm still totally perplexed." He is annoyed that George nominated him, even though the other night he was talking about Chantelle to him. Maggot asks George if he is a backstabber, George tells him he wouldn't nominate him tomorrow or the next day but that it felt right tonight. George tries to explain his thoughts on laughing at Chantelle, "there's a difference between laughing at someone and embarking on a process to make everyone laugh at her." Maggot tells him, "I still think you're a good man who stands up for your principles."

2.32am
Pete tells Traci that everything she aspires to be "is repugnant" to him. He mocks the way she says she loves everyone and tells her, "you don't love me, you like me. You love your boyfriend's money…do you think when you go for casting anyone sees past your knockers? You are a huge misuse of words…you don't love me, you've got no right to say you love me… which mood elevator are you on?" She replies asking which one he is on because one minute he is up, one minute he is down….

Preston leaves the room feeling uncomfortable with Traci and Pete's conversation. He tells the others, "it's gone mental in there. He's just telling Traci she needs therapy. I can't even laugh."

Meanwhile, Pete tells Traci, "you're I insincere to the point of nausea." She continues to tell him, "I love you, I love you Pete," but Pete replies, "you don't even know what love is." He adds that she needs help, she is with the wrong therapist. As he walks out the room he tells her she's "fundamentally an LA whore." as he leaves the room.

Pete goes to the kitchen and tells the others he has attacked Traci for no reason and laughs, saying, "I'm done with her. I've wiped the wall with her."

Preston looks shocked and Traci cries in the living room.

That's it lets try and save Traci - lets not show her irritating the heck out of everyone and her constant me, me, me, for all of about 5 hours. No doubt she will be safe now.

Ooops better go and vote for again - just in case there is a chance.

Yeah...they haven't done a number on Traci ...The only thing missing is the boys (Pete, George and Michael) relishing that Pete was deliberately plying Traci with more drink to provoke her into having an emotional train-wreck...would that they had included that.

Thank you, Red Devil...on this particular occassion I don't feel de-"spoil[ed"

Good to see the very negative side of George shining through too.

Poor Tracy. Pete has amused me at times, but that is pure spite. Hopefully will secure Tracy a place in the house come tomorrow night though.

Shame they seem not to be showing Chantelle thoroughly enjoying and encouraging the Traci baiting.

It's about time the editors stopped picking on the female nominees. A redressing of the balance is long overdue. Pete's dark side has been kept from the highlights for too long. Unfortunately nobody can vote for him tomorrow. ...... Or can they? (she says in anticipation of extra devilment).

Chantelle was loving every minute of it but of course BB is not going to show that and spoil her chances of winning.

But why do that when she was laughing behind her back and telling Pete how great he was for attacking Traci.
Chantelle is such a fake.

Thanks for the heads up on the highlights.

Sounds like Pete has shot himself in the foot. I reckon Rula will be gone tomorrow as Traci will have a lot of sympathy after this episode.

She was loving every minute of it, she carried on bitching about Traci with Pete and said how much she loved him having a go.

When Traci went to bed, Chantelle was still laughing and was hardly a calming influence.

I knew it must have been bad as I heard several of them say he went too far during the live stuff today. (George, Rula, Maggot and Preston). If it was that bad though, surely one of them should have said something.

So Traci cries after Pete has a go at her. It won't show that it took her half an hour to get the tears out after he'd left the room.

As an estimate.

She started crying while talking to Maggot and George about being nominated. She enjoyed Pete having a go at her because she admires him and wants his attention.

Maggot came off worse going by what I've just read. People will think it mean that he did that to Chantelle. Also they will be annoyed that after all he said about George, he still respects him.

Maggot spoke to him about it. Pete half heartedly apologised but said he did it to distract her attention about being nominated and said "it worked didn't it".
