Oh I lurve the Beckhams

The Male One: I particularly love his sense of style. He's single-handedly constructed the metrosexual, a subspecies of heterosexual man which wishes it was homosexual and dresses according to a stereotypical ideal of homosexual dress. At the same time, his womanising and the fact he can kick a ball around assert that he is in fact a heterosexual, and not a homosexual. His work for the sarong and diamond earrings industry is second to none, and I'm particularly proud of how he has single-handedly resurrected the fortunes of Top Man.

The Female One: Where does one begin with this saint! Her dedication to fashion and music is almost divine, her perseverance in the face of unsurmountable odds such as not actually being able to sing gives new hope to the legions of talentless teenagers out there that hope to become famous from being humiliated very week on the X-Factor. And, without wathering one little bit, her fashion and beauty regime has inspired hookers and porn stars the world over. She really is a goddess, nay perhaps even the queen of the gods, truly the Beckhams are Zeus and Hera 2006.

It wouldnt surprise me, in the pictures of her attending Eltons stag do (She was wearing a red dress which showed her hip bones) her hips and waist were the same width and her pelvis was jutting out.
So i suppose a good thing to say about that would be, she knows how to make a prawn last all day, by just nibbling it throughout.

He is a good-looking but rather thick young lad who has taken on board all of his lady wife's advice and has been transformed from an Essex rat boy to a play thing for Elton John and his partner (wife) and Vic must be admired for her willpower in avoiding anything calorific and devoting her life to being a size 4 and being constantly hungry for the love of her man!!! Praise the Beckham's!!!!

On seeing her photo, I am daily thankful for my natural hair, non-dayglow skintone and nylon-free nails and my lack of skull face and that I dont look like all the above attributes would catch fire given a naked flame at 50 paces.

Victoria is a stunning, talented woman, and let's not forget she is the only woman on earth to ever have given birth ever. And of course David is a cerebral, well read Man who is ever faithful and loving to his non-clingy wife

Well for myself, I particularly love the happiness Victoria spreads everywhere with her sunny smile, joyous laughter and winning ways. She is charm personified. Her willingness just to be like anyone else, her people skills which are unbelievable ( and I say that without fear of contradiction).

And ol' Golden Balls what can one say. His articulation and diction is awe-inspiring, his personality overwhelming. He certainly leaves a huge impression on me.

I like Victoria - i admire the fact that she's been through so much with the press, granted thats what you get when you're famous, but with everything that happened with David, she held her head up high, kept her family together, tried to protect her boys from it all and got on with her life. Most people would be distraught and end up in rehab ala Kerry Katona, but Victoria's strength through that period was really admirable.

I like the fact she's a working mother and not your typical footballer's wife. Yes she has the money, but it's her own money not just David's, yes she buys clothes, but she does actually work, with her jeans label, doing various bits of modeling, and of course she's always worked, including her singing. Her solo career may not have been successful, but she's always given things a go, taken all the bad comments on board without moaning constantly about them, and shes always worked. She doesn't just live off David's money doing nothing. She works, she raises a family, she always looks good, and with 3 boys I'm sure this is difficult to do.

I admire her for the fact her family will always come first, I also admire her for the drive and ambition she has to do well for herself and still retian some independance away from David, away from their Beckham brand.

And David, well hes a great footballer, I don't admire any of the womanising he's allegedly done, but overall he seems like a guy with the right values.

Fair enough. You like her and have given your reasons and I will grant you that she held her head high with David and his infidelities. That can't have been an easy situation for her at all, especially since it all happened in the full public glare.

I would probably take issue with the 'always worked' part and even to a degree the 'designing jeans' part. I don't believe for one minute that Victoria sat down in front of a drawing board and designed the jeans from scratch. I think that she probably told a professional designer what she wanted and they did the professional work.

I think that for the most part since she had her children she has been desperately looking for something to give her the credibility she craves. Yes she has a go at things, but she always seems to me to be a bit rudderless and directionless in her desperation. One minute she's bringing out another record, the next she's designing clothes, then she's opting for a movie career and taking acting lessons and the most recent bleating about wanting advice from Kate Moss so that she can be a model. Yet on the other side, she's telling people that she wants to take a back seat and just be a mother.

So which is it to be? The singer, the designer, the actress, the model or the mother? She just seems to hop from one notion to the other without any kind of substance to any of them. It's okay for her to have a go. Now what would be nice is if she would stick to one thing and make it work. It's not as though she has to worry about bringing home the bacon while she decides or works for it, is it?

True true, but it all depends on how much of this is actually true as we know the press dont like the Beckhams, as they know bad press on them is more readership for them.

I would imagine that no Victoria doesnt make the jeans herself, but she has a lot of creative input, probably has input on the marketting and advertising side of it, with ideas on how to put the product out to their market and age target, and obviously she is a spokeswoman for them.

Perhaps we could also praise her iron willpower. It can't be easy forgoing the gym and refusing to eat most food that isn't a bags of prawns in order to remain a sylph-like size 4/6, depending on which magazine you tend to believe.
