Premier Digital Camera problems - General Discussion

I've had my digital camera since Christmas, and it was the 5 Megapixel one from Tesco at £50.

Anyway, I'd used it up until last week, when I came to switch it on, and nothing was happening.

So I thought 'Battery must be dead', so I plugged it into the charger, but still nothing.

The charger didn't even get warm, and the LED light never flashed as it usually would.

So any suggestions? I removed the battery and put it in again, but that made no difference.

Check charger fuse, check socket, if using extension lead multisocket job then check fuse in there too.

Check battery type and capacity, some cameras come only with standard batteries and you have to buy rechargables yourself.

Use cam with mains adaptor to check camera is working. (make sure of polarity before using)

Look for your reciepts/guarantee and think about returning charger if none of the above work.

It's a rechargeable lithium battery inside. Might check the fuse though, didn't think about that!

Believe it or not, I still have problems. Tesco refused to replace it, so do Premier have a website or an email I can contact them with?
