LAGO Part 1
Life And Getting Older
what a crazy life it is, we are here for a short period of time then gone, how short we just dont know. we could literally drop dead of an underlying medical problem at any second or we could live till 100,though one things for sure we are gonna die one day, which is no great revelation, but occasionally the fact i am going to die hits me and its a strange feeling ive noticed as ive got a bit older (31) than time seems to go quicker, though obviously it doesnt, but when i was at school a year seemed to go really slowly.and the last 10 years seem to have wizzed by it makes you think sometimes watching old people walk around who are in bad shape and walk really slow and think that will be me one day if i make it to that age. cheery arent i what are your thoughts on life ? |

As I'm very old I may not have time to finish this post. I find that the older I get, the longer I take to get things done and the quicker time goes. Consequently, I never seem to catch up with myself. I really must finish my shopping for last Christmas

I read somewhere that time seems to go faster when you are older because you are not learning new things every day.
When you are younger, particularly in childhood, you come across new things and have new things to learn constantly. Once you reach your twenties, not much comes along that hasn't before. One way to slow down time is to go and stand in a queue every time you see one, visit the dentist/doctor/hairdresser regularly and make sure you turn up at least an hour before your appointment, time will stand still...or seem to.
