Why has the garden had loads of work done, but the entrance none!

I heard, as did many, that the BB house was getting a "complete makeover". Having seen the new house pics (well, the garden), I thought FINALLY! They have realised we need something really different this year!

Then I see the entrance. They has just changed the logo, and painted the box thingy around the door! I thought we were going to get a real eviction over-haul. How cna we with that cheap, awful entrance that was thrown together with no imagination at all! The BB6/7 entrance is the worst to date IMHO. This one is marginally better than last years, due to the cool yellow and black.

pictures are on BBVISION

Cos we will only see the entrance on entry night and eviction nights. The garden will be there 24/7 for 13 weeks. Might as well put the money into the garden instead.

I'm not saying the garden was a waste of money, but if they were doing this huge big budget busting make-ver, why not do a bit of a re-hash with the entrance.

Whats the point in spending that money just to move an entrance - a door is a door wherever it is.

Yeah i know, but i think the entrance is better situated at the side so to make a long eviction walk

Not that I've heard. The show itself is getting a bit of a refresh by the new producers, but the house is just getting the usual makeover.

The entrance has had quite a lot of work done, its all black and yellow - last year it just had the eye!

And Cornchips was right, its only seen on the launch, final and evictions, meaning about 15 shows!! (in previous years)

The entrance you saw in the Kit Kat shoot may not be the entrance they end up using. Last year, someone showed early shots of the house entrance which was in the same place as the BB5 one. They changed it for the actual series

I heard the interior was having a major makeover (apparently the BB6 house was considered too similar to BB5's), but then again, I got this from Heat, which I don't read regularly I hasten to add, so it could be all rubbish.

What I think would be better for the front door is if the eye was the door (oval shape) and that disappeared behind the wall when a housemate was evicted but would "half" like the doors to anyway. Or maybe if the door went"up" instead. But one thing I think they should definitely do is pump smoke from either side of the doors so they walked out of the house in a Stars in their Eyes style way.

I have no interest in what the entrance is like. As long as it has a door and they go through it that's all it needs.

The entrance doesn't need overhauling though... it's just a door.

Anyhows - in saying that I think that you both answered that question fantastically and correctly!

I can't wait now to see the whole house! The entrance isn't really that bad! I think it looks OK and we never know what the inside will look like, there could be a long corridor or it could lead into two floors! as many have said, 'It's just a door!'

The entrance is quite often seen on BBLB near the beginning.

But of course if they spent money on the house then they wouldn't be able to pay Davina a ridiculous amount fo money to do stupid impressions for an hour every week.
