Do this year's HM's really stand a chance of pleasing us at all?

Let's face it, after six BB's, let alone the CBB's and the teen BB's, do any group of HM's stand a chance of pleasing the majority of us for thirteen weeks?

We've had arguments of every sort. Fight night reached the dizzy heights of actual physical contact.

We've had lurv and even under the table sex.

We've had toe sucking, nipple sucking and as much rubbing of parts as the pool can muster.

If this year's HM's get on and have fun, will that be too boring now? If they argue constantly like last year, will it just seem like paint drying?

What message have previous BB's given this year's HM's other than there must be arguments and there must be naked flesh?

I'm looking forward to this year as much as any other, but I'm wondering what the next level is? Is there one? Or are we destined to have reruns of previous BB's just with different people?

What are you hoping for this year?

Are there elements of previous BB's that you long for, and do you think there is anything left, remotely original, that this year's HM's can hope to achieve?

What do you want from them?

Every BB has had something to keep me watching (with the exception of BB4 of course)

For some reason, I am really looking forward to this BB ... whether its because we have the red button, or there will be more HMs ... I don't know

But for some reason, I am really looking forward to this coming Thursday night

I'll give everyone a chance ... for a few days as I generally change my mind a couple of times about people

I have a really positive feeling about this series... I can't wait to see the housemates! I will have a better idea what I want to see happen when I've seen how they interact with each other.

I would like housemates to hold a discussion on the decline of the Soviet Union, with specific attention on Gorbachev's policies of Perestroika and Glasnost, and how they impacted the smaller republics.

Would you settle for a discussion about the weather instead?

I doubt it. There is such little variation among the housemates. Unless you like self-obsessed, shallow, arrogance personified there is rarely much to support among the BB housemates.

Nah, I can't see it.............

It'll either be 'same old, same old' screaming wannabees or dull people sat around talking............

I think they have to do something different this year, but can't imagine what it might be.............I think I'd settle for 'nice BB' with fairly pleasant, likeable people getting on, having fun, talking to each other about something other than shagging and make-up, gradually becoming a community.

But I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of that, and even if it did happen, it probably wouldn't please the majority..........

I always change my mind, maybe I'm a crap judge of character.

The last few years I've started with the agenda that I'm not liking any of them until they do something that pleases me.

I am looking forward to Thursday, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be negative.

I'm just wondering if this year's HM's will set out to immitate past BB's, or actually up the game to another level, and if they do, where that level will take us.

smaller house= more arguments
more HM= more people to argue and get a better range of people!
golden ticket winner= probably more boring than vanessa from BB6

the biggest shock would be if more normal people were in the house again.
You could have at least half like that, people are not easily shocked anymore so why try?.....

As long as it's not like BB4 or BB6 it will be good. BB5 was almost perfect. People you liked and even the people you didn't like gave you lots of smiles - wish I'd had interactive then

The big problem is that too many people have now seen what goes on so they'll be playing to the cameras and it's going to take six weeks until they start to forget and let themselves go.

They should have two separate houses linked by a secret passage, one with all men and one all women - neither to know about the other house until a predetermined time, probably when they are both down to their last three or four and everyone thinks they will win LOL.

The annoying ones to go down a punishment tunnel and then the nice ones to dynamite it <weg>.

Do this year's HM's really stand a chance of pleasing us at all?

Lets face it there will be 'so and so support' threads and 'get rid of so and so' threads popping up within minutes of the HM's entering the house, DSBB FM's are an eclectic lot and that is how it should be and why I love this forum...OMG I nearly went into sycophant mode

There will be HM's that please and annoy its the same every year...

There is no such thing as a perfect BB season every FM's expectation is different from the next!!!

Roll on Thursday I say

The streets are full of people worse or comparable to last year's 'mob', it's a shame that only a dozen or so of them are being locked in the house at a time!
