People liked BB1 cos it was original
People liked BB2 cos of funny housemates like Brian
People liked BB3 for the rich/poor divide and relationships
People liked BB4 ... well no one liked it
People liked BB5 for being outrageous
People liked BB6 ... but I don't know why

It sounds like the new HM's are too weird, we need weird and normal people so as there is someone to like. But I wouldn't be surprised if its all a lie for publicity.

A gay housemate is inevitable, less like Craig and Marco, more like Brian or Graeme Norton.

Your usual bunch of nutcases but with 4/5 guys/girls who live on earth, think Jonathan Ross or Chris Moyles surrounded by the Lipgloss Bitches. Fighting and funny!

Love ... hot people like Orlaith and Vanessa (BB5) but give them something on the male side, not Anthony. Less of the slags like the revolting Lesley.

The tasks need to be good, like BB5's boot camp, really split them up. Give them something to do instead of sitting around all day bitching. Another year of that will kill me.

Housemate selection is the most critical aspect of BB.

It's impossible to please everyone... but it'll be fascinating to see what they come up with.

Getting the right mix must be extremely difficult. I just hope they don't try and pick too many extreme characters this year.

I think they should go back to the BB1 format. Its just like a tabloid-driven freakshow now.

I agree with the sentiment but cant see how it can happen. BB is now to big and too much of a cash cow for £ndermol. If you recall there was no live coverage at all on BB1 and the internet feed was slow and turned off at the first sign of trouble.

The right pick of Hms is the key, but again £ndermol seem to want shock/horror preeners rather than people who would act "naturally".
