Using Sky remote with Philips sound system
Hi,
is it possible to use the Sky remote to adjust the volume on a Philips HTS 3300 dolby digital system? I've already tried the code for Philips TVs but it didn't work ![]() Is there anything like an auto-scan function on the Sky remote that finds the code automatically? |

Standard Sky remotes can operate about 90% of TVs, nothing else.
AIUI however, Sky+ remotes have additional AV functionality. |

aha there is a thread to this on sky+. there are about 5 pages off codes and read them all. the sky remote will work a lot of amps. start at the beginning of the thread as you will get confused. there are two functions the remote can work and you have to switch between the two. obvisously working the tv is one.
sky remotes are made by a company owned by one for all and this is why there are codes for them built in your handset. as i said read all the notes are it is confusing. hope this helps you out. |

yes some success for most people but you have to read all off the link to understand it. there seems to be codes for amps that oneforall uses then you add/subtract 28.
hope it helps http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...ad.php?t=70097 |
