Prior to the finale, Fox are airing LIVE from the red carpet. This has been available online since 6pm EST.
I hope you guys managed to watch. It was a great opportunity to catch up with former idols thoughout all seasons!! From Justin Guarini to Jasmine Trias. From Anthony Fedorov to Jennifer Hudson. From Vonzell to Nikki...
...and of course this seasons Idols....

The main Fox airing is being hosted by the hosts of Fox's LA morning show 'Good Day Live'.
Up until last season this show was available Nationwide, then it was removed from syndication. It was great source for AI gossip and Simon's girlfriend is/was actually their AI reporter.

I was indeed correct last night in my synopsis. That was indeed Kellie Pickler's father. I wonder if they will exploit her tonight!! lol

Following Carrie Underwood's 2 ACM awards last night (Best single for Jesus Take The Wheel) and Best New Female Vocalist! (Congrats Carrie! ) Carrie has just revealed she will be singing with Taylor and Katharine on tonights Finale...Carrie should be proud with those awards only one year on!! Plenty of artists wait years to be recognized by the Academy of Country Music!

My only disgust with the red carpet, is Simon is smoking..I'm really surprised by that. His and Randy's attitude on the carpet isn't one I would call friendly! Again he claims he has called the winner....

Constantine is still pouting!! lol I loved him last season!!

Katharine mother has to be the most annoying parent in the world!! I have never met a more detestable mother!!

It does sound like Ms McPhee has gave up!!

Was a good show but the presenters were terrible especially the woman. Glad to see Carrie there and she definetly deserved those ACM awards

One thing was with the Randy and Simon interview they said

The host asked about Simon's comment that Taylor was going to win and he replied "We don't think we know, he is the winner!" - Isn't that just giving the whole show away assuming they know the voting totals
