Your right, but wasn't there a time when his sirname was Martin? because once I remember going to the Eastenders characters page, clicking on Derik's picture, and his sirname stated "Martin"?

Derek the character was always called Derek Harkinson. Derek the actor (who plays Charlie Slater) has the surname Martin.

As far as I can tell, the OP is trying to say that the actor Derek Martin (Charlie Slater) had the same name as the character of Derek (Pauline's lodger). However, this is incorrect because Pauline's Derek had the surname Harkinson.

Kevin is played by Phil. But Phil is played by Steve. There were 3 Steves in ee. None of them played by Phil or Kevin.
