talksport nominated for station sound award?
Please tell me that's a typo error....

It has no station sound. Lack of coherent jingle/sweeper package. The only thing worthy of an award is the removal of Kelvin Mackensies much favoured guitar riff cord that polluted the end of every break at the first opportunity.

But using a disjointed audio mess to come in/out of breaks, and composing 'amusing' songs slagging off the off-air habits of your breakfast presenter should not win any awards.

Another woefully inadequate backslap-fest which fools no one with its inherent favouritism. Is this the best they can do??!!

So who, in your opinion - out of those who entered in the first place - should have been nominated? Who didn't enter who should have done? Have you actually heard all of the nominated entries?

Are you actually capable of making a well-reasoned contribution to a debate or are you just going to come on here with your usual sniping?

No, I thought not. You're just a complete waste of space and it's hardly surprising DS ban you on a regular basis.

I did like the way you answered your own so called question. Nice move.

And by the way, Mr Shops, my freedom to make a comment without casting an ear across all the entry cds submitted to the chaps at arqiva doesn't diminish my opinion or right to contribute.

If you draw some juvenile joy from bannings, then I strongly suggest you examine your own sensibilities and question whether the oppression of free speech is something that actually enhances the cohesiveness of your arguments, or merely cossets you in a safe discussion.

Just a quick question:

Quote:
The Arqiva Commercial Radio Station Sound Award
Matt Fisher - XFM
I thought Ben Neidle/Noise Fusion did all their station imaging - or does Matt Fisher work for them?

Could we please keep this thread on-topic.

Any further off-topic discussion will be viewed as general disruption and dealt with accordingly.

No it's not, keeping to topics keeps everything easier to read. Have you ever seen a forum with no moderation?

It's good to see that there are still some programmes/features of the old style going out on ILR in some areas of the UK, and that these have been recognised. ILR in my neck of the woods carries very little of this type of material.
