At least Lisa tried

To talk to Pete one on one, quietly and find out what she'd done wrong.... and I thought it was nice that she said he changed her.... I will be disappointed if I hear Pete sayig to anyone now that she's annoying him - he had the perfect opportunity to say everything - not just the bee thing...

Then Lisa also in the diary room saying about the bitching and that she can't believe she's getting involved in it all - then outside with the girls saying that she doesn't want it to happen anymore...

I hope we get back to the original Lisa we saw - fun an straight-up

Yes I thought that. She really is fond of him. I felt sorry for her. He appears to be very gentle. I think he is frightened of her. It seems to have made him rather depressed of late. He is finding it difficult to cope with Lisa and the situation in the house, in my opinion.

I thought she came across as a playground style 4 year old again, with a bit of bunny boiler thrown in. Can she not take no for an answer?

This whole bunny boiler thing is a complete fabrication. Lisa is not in love with Pete, she's just his mate and is confused by how cold he is being to her. He has treated Nikki in exactly the same way. He is just using any excuse to be annoyed with them.

Agreed. He dosen't like her anymore probably dosen't want to be in the same room as her. If he choses to avoid her then that his parogative. Why is she pushing the issue?

It's also her prerogative to ask what she has done to offend him. Perhaps she would even like to apologise or explain herself?

Pete ducked the issue again unfortunately. He obviously fears confrontation for his own reasons, and who can blame him, but in this instance it is preventing a resolution to the problems the two of them are having.

I thought Lisa was really sweet on the highlights show tonight. I wish Pete and Lisa could get a chance to sit down in private, without Richard, Lea and Grace about, and have a deep and meaningful and try and sort things out.

Because he hasn't told her why!! You don't just expect to get on with your time in such a closed environment, when someone who you were great friends with in the first 2 weeks ignores you.

Give her a break.

Ok, I understand that but at the same time if petes not biting, she needs to let the matter drop. I believe her quest for connecting with Pete is more to do with her strong romantic feelings for him (though she tries to hide it). I think he sense that and stays away.
If she wants to know why Pete is avoiding her, she needs to dig around in her memory bank. Recall the time she demanded he slept in her bed, got jealous when he touched Lea, followed him everywhere. If she can do that then she won't need to be told why.

Yes, but Lisa isn't really the self-analysing type . I'm sure Pete is intelligent enough to realise that and is probably frustrated that he is unable to say what undoubtedly needs saying.

I'm sure Pete has had many bad confrontational experiences in his life and it seems that his reaction to such a situation is to effectively shut down his real feelings and either keep quiet or say something false to keep the peace. He has shown this tendency several times such as his inability to defend Shabhaz. It's fairly obvious that in a group confrontation he hasn't got the confidence to express himself and I think the same is true in one-on-ones that have the potential (in his mind) to become arguments.

She hasn't been watching herself for the last 3 weeks on telly, so it would easier said than done. Pete needs to tell her to end the situation!!!!

Yeah I think Pete brings out Lisa's soft side and the 'geezer bird' becomes a vulnerable girl. Maybe she's really fallen for him. She could be completely different if it was reciprocated. I think the 'get back in that bed now!' incident was her downfall with Pete. A shame really - I quite liked her tonight.

Well her observation skills must be shot. You don't have to see yourself on the big wide screen to know when you've been a fool. She's demanding and controlling and I'm guessing that whatever Pete said to her won't make a bit of difference. She's still got issues with Lea just because her and Pete are close.

I agree with you, and at the beginning he was very keen on her and might have made her think that he was interested in her romantically. If you remember, it was control freak Richard who suggested they shared a bed, instead of letting the friendship develop naturally.

Then Lea stuck her oar in (and her chest) . I think it must be very difficult for Lisa having to watch him cuddling and holding hands with Lea, while he avoids her. It's not like she can get away from them. I think she's doing quite well under the circumstances and I don't think she'd be bitching with Grace if she wasn't hurting inside.

Thank God for someone else who shares my view of the situation. I have been totally mystified by all these references to Lisa being a bunny boiler, as I have seen no evidence whatever. I asked this on a thread the other day but nobody gave any reasons. As far as I can tell she told Pete, ages ago, that she was just having a laugh and just wants to be mates and he accepted it. Well, he would have accepted it without the drip-drip of Lea's venom warning him about Lisa's attachment.

And if Pete is so intelligent, how come he is so taken in by Lea?

"I get jealous cos she gets her tits out in front of Pete," admitted Lisa. In case we were in any doubt.

From the link GaySpice posted. Basically showing up what a liar she is.

Amusing quote from the link:

"Have you seen her without her make-up ... she's a dog," agreed Lisa. "She has no class."

How very ironic on both counts.

But it was so obviously BS and Pete spotted it a mile off that it was BS. Hell, she even laughed after she said it. As if she's just totally change her attitude to insects like that. She'll lie her arse off and play sweet to get in his pants, but he's smart enough to know it and is keeping his distance.

And GaySpice's link shows she was lying with the "I just want to be mates" statement, too.
