Scissor Sisters Concert Trafalgar square - Music

Hello i read in the sun that the scissor sisters are supposed to be holding a concert to thank brittish fans at trafalgar square on saturday 16th september. To get tickets they are going to do a text lottery like live 8 and all profits go top the global world find or something like that anyway.

The text lotter was supossed to open friday (11-08-06) but i dont know the number or anything so if you know anything can you please post it here

If anyone knows anything please let me know!!! If this is true I am suprised it hasnt been announced on their official site!

EDIT- Apparently the info was leaked to the press & its this week Friday the text lotto starts! As soon as I have more info I will post again!!!

Someone at work told me I needed to buy the standard last friday for the comp. When I did there was NOTHING in the standard at all...

as I probably wouldn't have got to hear about the concert as I didn't think there would be any UK dates this side of Christmas

Same as me, well i always go on the scissorhood everyday but only usually into the announcements section so was in blind panic when I saw this thread earlier!!

No not yet, I have beein checking the SS message board and as yet the number has not been published.

The news has been removed from the scissor sisters website, not sure why but the admin on the message boards think it is best NOT to text until another official announcement has been made, in case the number changes or there is a change regarding the actual event! So keep your eyes peeled on the link above in ben93's post!

So i checked the SS website and its also been taken off the News page on the website…….. GGGGGRRRRRRRRRR whats going on???

I just think its a bit of a shambles when all last week there has been leaked press releases, speculation on the SS website and then an announcement (signed by the Scissor sisters themselves) on the official website! So when we text in and get a bizarre message like FINISHED, its like - eh!?!?

And its only because of DS - not the SS website that I find out Ive jumped the gun!
