The recent rush of support for Aisleyne is no surprise

Aisleyne and Nikki: compare and contrast.

Nikki has been in the outside world, already made a small fortune and knows she is adored by millions.

Aisleyne's only contact with the outside world has been the weekly cackle of abuse that she hears on a Friday night. She believes that she is hated by millions.

On top of this we had mountains of footage of ex-HMs slating her on BBBM or in the house next door. Even during Imogen's eviction interview the screen lingers on a picture of a distressed Ais and Davina crows "we musn't laugh, but isn't it REALLY funny to see her so upset".

In these circumstances it's no surprise that the Ais votes are pouring in is it? The UK public don't take lightly to seeing one decent human being being systematically torn to shreds by a TV show which bends over backward to break their own rules to accommodate another contestant. The Aisleyne support is the UK public rebutting Endemol's obnoxious scheming, good luck to her!.

The most open example of a biased opinion ever expressed by Davina. Completely uncalled for.

I agree. I hate it when Davina is so openly biased towards or against someone still in the house. Its wrong.

Davina is a disgrace. And completely unprofessional at her "job".

The only successful show she has been involved in is BB.

Her attitude towards Suzie was pathetic. Especially in comparison to the easy time she gave Grace and Lisa.

This biased idiot should be fired.

Aisleyne is just another Makosi waiting to happen, so i hope she doesn't let Davina maul her and leave her to the baying crowds.

If they HAD shown more than the miniscule particle of the HND Ash-slashing, I think her support would be much greater. I still don't think she has had a fair edit

Davina's interview with Ash is going to be cringeworthy...I didn't see Suzie's eviction but I read about the interview with Davina and it was certainly uncomfortable reading...

Well, someone out there must like her, judging by all the fuss that has been made about her.

I will feel sorry for Ash when she is booed on Friday night, but if the majority of people see her for what she is, i guess that's the way it is.

I don't like seeing anyone booed

Pete to win by the way

The swell of support for Aisleyne on this and other forums in the final week is no surprise and very simple to explain... people are obviously voting (with their keyboards) for who they think has emerged as the worthiest winner.

And it isn't any of the ones the producers have seemed so desperate to foist upon us, which probably makes supporting Aisleyne sem like sweet justice for many people who want BB8 to be a better show than BB7.

Ais is nothing like Makosi. If Ais eithr wins or is in second place, then she will not be treated like Makosi was.

Ais, the support for her is growing. She will soon have large amounts of money on her to win. Peeps are not jsut voting by phoning into bb, they are also taking bets on the whole thing too. I don't remember this happening before or at least to this extent.

Ais is going to really shock the whole lot of hatters.
Nikki and Pete might have more supporters I don'tknow but I tell you something I bet that Ais has some out there too. Wh would the bookies place her above Glum.

If you have beton Ais winning then vote to ensure that she does win. YOu will get your winnings from the bookies too.

Do you have any idea what it's like to be disowned by one of your parents?

If not,i suggest you stop taking the mick no matter how much you "dislike" the girl, nobody should be taken the p*ss out of as it's only a T.V show!

I agree with you. Lets hope she wins. It may give her som confidence back instead of thinking that everyone hates her in the outside world.

Not only biased, but very nasty- the trait of a bully to enjoy seeing someone upset.

I think a lot of the growing support for Aisleyne is a kind of 'protest vote' at the increasingly obviuos manipulation shown by C4. The whole 'get Nikki back in' twist is seen for what it really is, a cynical manipulation of the programme format to generate more ratings and more votes.

Ash has survived a lot of grief that BB has thrown at her, and for all her faults will be remembered (by all fair minded viewers) as a survivor. In my mind she is already a winner as she has shown honour, courage, loyalty, and fortitude, despite being victim of a concerted campaign by the programme makers to belittle and demean her.

I'm not a 'fan' of any housemate, but I recognise unfairness and manipulation when I see it, and Ash deserves to win just to stick two finger up to the cynical money and ratings oriented programme makers who have broken their own rules in the pursuit of ratings and profits.

The beautiful thing is that Pete,Nikki and perhaps Glyn and even Richard are sitting in the house thinking they are loved and that they might/will win.
On the other hand Aisleyne is sitting there, like Cinderella, fearing the worst on Friday or before.
What a lovely surprise is in store for her!
And she so deserves it.
