I went to the Final last night ... some feedback!

Would have posted this earlier, but was too tired!

I went with a friend and we arrived about 5.30 yesterday to POURING rain, which thankfully stopped. For some reason, someone was handing out Pete keyrings to people in the queue. But they are pretty cool and I managed to get a couple.

Once inside, we got a fairly good position on the house-side, facing the ex-hm's. We were standing next to Eugene from BB6, which was weird as last year, I was standing there waiting for him to leave the house! He wanted Pete or Glyn to win, but left before the end of the show anyway!

I was also next to the friends and family enclosure, close to Jennie's boyfriend, aunt and mum, Pete's mum, little brother and friend Wobbly Bob(!) and Ash's dad and friend.

There were 750 people in the crowd last night, which is smaller than usual. We got chatting to a couple of Welsh girls; you can see their huge Welsh banner a lot and Glyn was thrilled to see it!

On the downside .... I was also next to the worst crowd members I think I've seen. I know we use the term 'chav' here a lot .... but really, this bunch of women WERE the pits. They were supporting Nikki, but also had 'I Love Grace' and 'Aisleyene U Moose' banners. They loved Mikey and Spiral and insisted on shouting their love for these two at every opportunity. They also enjoyed chanting 'Aisleyne Out' at the top of their voices. Once Nikki was out, during the break, they shouted out their love for her with 'NIKKKIIIII ..... YOU'RE ONLY GETTING BOOOED 'COS THEY'RE JEALOUS YOU'RE WITH PETEY!'

There was another charming girl close to me who said she wanted to 'Deck Aisleyne' a lot.

I lost count how many times I told them all to shut up. I'm surprised I didn't get slapped in the face last night!

BUT ... thankfully, there were quite a few Ash fans too and we tried our hardest to drown out their boos and chants with cheers!

Having watched some of the show back, I can hear this bunch of trolls heckling and booing .... agghhhhh!!!!!

Out of the ex-hm's, Grace and Mikey received the poorest reception (although they were pleased to see the 'Moose' banner ). Grace lost her shoe stepping up onto the main interview stage and nearly fell over. Ooopps ....

Lea was very popular again. And Imogen is simply stunning. But wtf was George doing there?!?!

As for Nikki .... it was a mixture of cheers and boos. Because of the way she acted during her interview, I think the crowd simply got tired of her and there were some chants of 'Off, off'. Not sure if you realise .... but she ignored Lea and walked off the set, down the stairs and disappeared for a while. She returned a little later with someone fussing over her to calm her down.

Richard's eviction was a good one .... have to say, he looked good and the crowd loved him. And yes .... the whole crowd heard Jayne's belch during his interview. Lea nearly fell onto him in tears.

Last year during the break, we could watch '8 out of 10 Cats' on the screen, but not this year. Dermot came out for a while (Jennie was thrilled to see him!). He teased Richard by suggestively telling him he couldn't wait to meet him. Richard came down and gave him a hug!

I wasn't looking forward to Ash coming out because of the crowd, but it was OK. Again, a mixture but more cheers than boos. Grace and Mikey didn't show much reaction, but Lisa sat there booing her heart out. There were some chants of 'Know Yourself' .... but it turns out, that's a good thing! And the crowd booed when they showed Grace throwing the water in her 'Best Bits'.

Ash is very tall with an amazing figure. And like most of the hm's, prettier in the flesh. She saw us cheering for her and thanked us. Made me happy.

I noticed that Spiral completely ignored her, but Michael, Lea, Jennie and Imogen gave her big hugs.

Both Glyn and Pete had a lot of support last night, but I wasn't surprised Pete won it. Glyn's eviction was one of the best I've ever seen .... amazing.

Pete had an amazing reception, but it gets drowned out by the (very good) fireworks! It felt surreal seeing him in the flesh, jumping all over place. I think Davina had her work cut out during the interview, but it didn't seem to matter .... the crowd loved him anyway. Richard and Lea were in tears.

While the final montage of clips was being shown, the hm's gathered on the stage to watch. Nikki latched herself tightly onto Pete ..... but got told to let go and move elsewhere. Shouldn't laugh .... but .... you know ....

The hm's left the stage sharpish to move onto BBBM (I saw Pete sitting on the 'throne' chair ). I think the time delay last night was about 5 minutes.

Then Davina posed for a photo on stage with the producers.

I thought Davina looked more stressed than usual last night .... and after Nikki walked off, she didn't look happy at all. At the end of the show, Davina started to cry and tearfully thanked the crowd, production team and EVERYONE for all their support this year. And yes, she said she'd see us next year.

To be honest, it wasn't the best Final I've been too. Hard to explain, but it lacked some atmosphere. Maybe it was having 6 hm's evicted in one night .... it all felt very rushed. But I'm glad I got to go.

Someone in the crowd won a ticket to a CBB eviction .... because this was her 50th eviction! She goes alone whilst her husband waits for her in the car park!

Now THAT is sad ......

Who told Nikki to move?
Was Pete pleased she was latched?

An interesting post, thanks alot Tinkerbella!

I think we'll find Pete will quietly ditch Nikki after this, he hinted yesterday that they were just friends
