Women... I don't understand them, and I am one!

I've never been what you would call a girlie girl,I don't like to wear makeup or high heels or whatever girlie girls wear and I really don't get those women who do all that.

If I go away for the night, I take a small bag. My friends take a small suitcase.

Why?!

I just hate not being able to understand these kind of women. Especially since I am one. Its like they're another species.

Maybe I should've been born a man....

The fact you don't wear makeup, high heels or 'whatever' indicates why you don't take a small suitcase.
Babe, just wear some makeup and be what you were born.. a female.
Guys prefer girlie girls. I know that from experience.

Not all men I'd rather have someone look natural without lots of make-up.

Better to have a little makeup than none.

You sound like my wife. And that's what I love about her.

Not always. She can be how she wants to be. I have a female friend who loves football and motor racing, can arm wrestle any guy and drinks pints of real ale. She swears a lot but also has waist length hair and wears heels and make up when she wants. We don't have to be ickle princesses to be women. I look like a girly girl but I have a blokey side. i don't feel the need to act fragile.

I tend not to wear make up unless I'm going out for a night (and even then if I'm going to proper pubs as opposed to my local!) I think I'm fairly good at travelling light - but that's because I like my little trolley case if I'm going away overnight so I shoehorn everything into it!

The girlie thing I don't get is handbags on a night out... why??

If I don't have pockets (very rare) then I just make my husband carry my stuff!

Sorry - Girls are girls. We should act like girls. I've been raised like this. I hate girls that think they are lads. Stupid.

Sorry, but what a load of utter clap trap. And what a massive generalisation!

And who cares what guys prefer anyway? The OP didn't mention men at all in her post...Perhaps you base you identity upon the reactions you get from men which is shallow.

I'm not a girly girl - but I'm good looking and sexy - AND I've got a personality. AND although I love men to bits (and don't have problems getting them) I don't need a man to feel good about myself.

But not wearing make up, doesn't make girls 'lads' any more than wearing make up makes you overly insecure and/or just damn ugly without it.

Surely it's what you're comfortable with...

Oh shut up
Male attention is always on our minds. Don't tell me otherwise

Your life must be very boring.

That would be a very sad way to lead a life. I certainly hope women don't crave male attention all the time. Be happy with yourselves first and let us men go to hell

Oh come, men want me. Men want any woman on a night out.
We love the attention. Any girl who turns around and says she doesn't like the attention from blokes is a liar.

Maybe it's on your mind Katie - I seem to recall another thread you were posting on explaining just how much you like male attention

No need to tell someone to "shut up" because you don't agree with them - that's just rude

What a very well reasoned argument.

Bit touchy today, aren't you?

Not suffering from..........

On second thoughts, I don't think I'll finish that sentence.

So guys like kujo and hanndav are supposed to be rugby playing, Sport reading, booby-ogling lager louts? PMSL at that image!
My friend doesn't think she's a lad, she's just who she is. So am I. I look girly but I don't act it. I'm not going to laugh at a man's jokes if i don't find them funny or get a man to change a lightbuld/fuse for me. That's just silly. Anyway, it seems like your idea of being a girly girl is "having fun" with other men, behind your fiance's back. I'll stick to being me, thank you.
