Spam!

How do I stop spam email? I thought there were new laws and agencies and all that. Been googling and what a chore.

It's only the one I keep getting and if I had Norton still it'd be binned before I even saw it.

What the hell would I want with stocks or penis enlargment???

And what's all this crap with it??

Inspectors Sneeds smile was very superior.
He turned the cylinder over; it was about four feet in length and immensely heavy.
The mystery of the door was very clear to Dick Martin.
Youve got this out of a story - book, he accused, when Dick paused for breath.
I thought that was the first article in a policemans creed. He hurried into his house, and Dick turned the car towards Coram Street.
If the ancient Sir Hugh was buried here, was his body in that casket? With a turn of his wrist the ward snapped back and the door of the iron grille opened squeakily.
Immediately behind him was another saunterer.
Your voice was the last in the world I expected to hear. At that moment the Hall came into view; a Tudor house of severe and unpleasing lines. As I say, Im only groping for the moment. I wonder if hes been up to his old tricks. It is all about the key, he repeated, and she had never seen him so grave.
And Im certainly not worried about what we saw.
What sort of a man was the late Lord Selford? The girl, with a gasp of fright, clung to Dicks arm. He asked Mrs Lansdown if she had heard of Stalletti, but she shook her head.
Please see Mr Havelock and show him this letter.
The trees, with their green, dank - looking boles, seemed dead in spite of their new greenness.
The path became visible again; it led a serpentine course through the trees, mounting all the time.
Stalletti pulled one open with an extravagant smile.
The trees, with their green, dank - looking boles, seemed dead in spite of their new greenness.
To all appearances the words had no significance to him.
Poor Lew, he had belonged to the real world. Sneed was lighting his cigar with slow, noisy puffs.
She saw the change that came instantly to his face.
Through the glass at the back of the car he saw another taxi following him.
I was talking to mother last night after youd left. Dick did not ask what the trouble had been.
You, Mr Martin, will appear in the expense sheet of the Selford estate as a liability!
Finish your breakfast, she ordered, and was adamant to his wheedling until he had drunk his coffee. I want to get it over before the local Sherlocks arrive, he said.
She went out of the room and came back with a small wooden box, which she opened.
He had borrowed an overcoat from the caretaker, and dozed in this all the way to town.
He glanced at the instrument that stood on the top of the escritoire.
I want nobody else, said Dick, and went up the stone stairs two at a time.

It is a simple thing to do but when I receive SPAM of any kind I simply go to the bottom of the page it is on and unsubscribe to it.

You are bound to pick up SPAM inadvertantly as I invariably do.

I keep getting loads of emails with subjects that make no sense. There's usually about 4 a day in there... it's just things that don't mean anything.

I think I've only opened one out of curiosity, nothing useful...... it gets stuck in the spam folder, but I'd love to know where they're coming from!

This is what I get when I click Properties and read all the techno stuff.

I wouldn't click on it if it had an attachment though, be asking for trouble.

I don't use my blueyonder e-mail (using outlook express) for that reason.... I removed 330 of them yesterday and last year there was over 1000 spam mails in a single day. I tend to use msn, not very good but at least I don't get as much spam.

That is the very last thing you should do

You are confirming that your email address is valid and therefore opening up yourself to even more spam

Sad isn't it, how many people fall for that scam.

That's what I was going to comment on. I get about 200 spam mails a day - totally sick of it.

Aren't we all. I'm beginning to think it's not coming. It's been a couple of years since I won their lottery...

Quite a good system, that - you win, and you don't even have to enter!
